I'm getting a new roommate, I'm kinda excited but also really really nervous... What if they're jerks? Or some lame kid? They might stay up all night typing away on a computer and never have fun. Lafayette told me I shouldn't worry but I'm still worrying.
Knock knock
I heard a faint knock on the door, that must be them. I slid off my bed and opened the door. A kid, around 18 was there, he carried a laptop and bag, he had long brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, like mine. He looked like he hadn't sleep in weeks.
"Uh, hey, I'm John!" I introduced myself to him who was staring at me, he was much shorter than me, only coming up to my shoulder.
"H-hamilton. Alexander Hamilton" His hand shot out and I took it, instead of shaking it I pulled him in causing him to stumble into my arms.
"H-hey!" He blurted. He clutched onto his laptop tighter and escaped my grip. Alex set his laptop and bag down and sighed. I stared at him, he was kinda cute. I'm not gay though so, yeah.
"Uh, Mon Ami?" Lafayette stepped into the room. He noticed Alex and grinned at him.
Alex gave a small smile back, then he had his laptop opened and was busy. I pulled Lafayette away.
"Oui?"
"He's weird"
"Non non, you just don't know him!"Laf let out a small chuckle. Laf walked over to Alex.
"He' La'! My name is Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de La Fayette, Marquis de La Fayette, but please just call me Lafayette!" Laf grinned at Alex. Alex smiled at Laf
"Sulut, Lafayette, Je'mapelle Alexander!" Alex grinned, he can speak French?
"Fabuleux! Alexander, you speak French?"Laf practically jumped, he must be happy to meet someone who can speak French. I wanted to step in and pull Alex away but Laf would just pull him back.
"Fluent" Alex smugly replied. I decided to speak up.
"Well! I know over 100 facts about turtles!"
Both stared at me as if I said the weirdest thing in the world.
"What?"
"John, Mon' Ami? Are you ok?" Laf looked at me sympathetically.
"I'm fine! Not like I'm jealous or anything that you're bonding with my new roommate."
Both of them chuckled which caused my face to heat up.
"Oui oui then, I might as well go, Herc might get nervous.."
"Oh, you're meeting Herc?" I asked, "Are you gonna see the girls too?"
"Non, just Herc"
"Can me and Alex come?" I asked without Alex's permission. I got nervous for a second, luckily Alex's eyes lit up and nodded frantically.
"Ou! perfect idea! I'll tell Herc. Au Revoir!" Lafayette sprinted out and I closed the door after him.
"So, Hi Alex"
"Uh, hi?" Alex stared for a while then stood up and streched.
"Are we going to go meet Lafayette?"
I nodded and he grinned and threw on his hoodie. He was like a little kid getting ready to see Santa. I laughed at that though.
"W-what?" Alex looked my way
"Oh nothing." I blurted. "Come on lez go!"
