prologue

"Hayden!" Screeched Lily, who sat cross legged on the oak floors of our cabin. I looked down from my seat on the top bunk with Izzy.

"Yes?"

"I need your help finishing this bracelet," she whined, getting frustrated by how she had no clue how to tie the finishing knot.

I leapt down from the top bunk, my feet making a thud noise once I hit the floor. I sat down next to the small sandy haired girl. She smiled shyly before handing me the colored bracelet. "Ooh! It's very pretty," I tell her and she blushes, thanking me softly. I handed her back the tied string and she accepted it. "So Lil, who'd you make it for?" I wondered, crossing my legs like her.

The small girl's smile enlarged at my question and she seemed to get very giddy. "Mr. Dolan!"

There was a chorus of "ooooooo"'s from all the other girls in the cabin and I noticed some of them wiggle their eyebrows or giggle towards me.

"Who's that?" I ask curiously, my eyes traveling across all the girls who were scattered around the small cabin.

"Wait, you don't know who the Ethan Dolan is?" One of the oldest girl in my cabin, Addie gasped, her eyes widening at me. I shook my head, brows furrowed in pure confusion.

"How do you not know him?" Delilah, another older girl said to me.

I shrugged, "Why would I? You girls know we get a lot of new faculty each year." I defended myself.

"Yeah, we know, but Mr. Dolan always does weird stuff when you're around him," Lily absently blurted out, picking at the broken wood on the floor.

"Weird stuff?" I question, suddenly ten times more interested. "What kind of weird stuff?"

"Well," Maggie, who wasn't the youngest or the oldest, but in the middle of the age range, spoke up from where she was on a bunk, eating Pringles. "Whenever he sees you, he always walks away or stares at you like a weirdo."

"And sometimes, when we're at lunch, he comes behind you in line and his face gets all red when he tries to say something to you," Tania, same age as Maggie chimed in.

"But he never does Miss. Hayden! His cheeks are always red!" Izzy, the young girl on the bed giggled.

"Maybe he's sick," Lily shrugged, confused as to why the boys face was always a different shade of pink.

Addie snorted, "Or maybe he likes her,"

I had no idea who Ethan Dolan was, but all of the sudden I was kind of interested in finding out.

If the characters get too confusing I might make a characters chapter since there will be a lot. Hayden, Ethan, and then they both have six kids in their cabins.

Oh btw Lia Marie Johnson will be playing Hayden Oswin
