Strawberry

I woke up and looked at Rory. He was sleep in the beanbag next to my bed. We talked until 6am. He apologized for everything and I ended up forgiving him. Last night we both came to the decision that we needed a break which was cool. I've been wanting some me time.

"I see you up now," Rory blinked his eyes.
"I thought you was sleep," I got up.

"You know I don't sleep," he yawned.
"Mhm," I hit him.
"Ow".

"That's for throwing me down the other day," I stretched out.

"Ain't you tired of fighting?".

I was about to answer but I felt a sharp pain in my back. Body so sore from that fight last night.

"What you finna get into today?".

"Nothing, gonna figure out what I wanna do for my gym credit," I started laying some clothes out.

"I think imma do basketball," he stood up.
"That's cool," I grabbed a towel.
"Yep I'll see you later tho," he kissed my forehead.
"K."

I showered and threw some clothes on. It's my turn to get groceries. I walked out into the living room and saw everyone that was bothering me last night.

"Morning," they all cheesed.

I'm just going to ignore them. I slid some shoes on and walked to the door.

"Hey what you gonna do for your credit?", asked Kay.

I sighed and sat down knowing I was going to get sucked into a conversation.

"I was thinking of dance," I said.

"Well good luck Nikke going to do dance too. You know she's done it since 5th grade. And some how she pulled some strings so now she gets to decide who joins the squad and who doesn't," said Kay.

"Well I'm still going to try out," I rolled my eyes.

"Good luck."

"Anyways what did you decide to do?", I asked.

"Golf," she said.
"You lazy ass-", I stood up ready to leave.
"Aye I'm just tryna get this credits."
"I feel you imma do Golf too," said Mulah.
"Sad. What about you Kaelyn?", I asked.

"Basketball but check this. Imma do bad on purpose so I have to sit out," she laughed.

"Another lazy. What you plan on doing Omar?", I asked.

"Football."

"Me too. But imma pull a Kaelyn," said JJ.

"Nah man sabotage these games and we fighting. I'm doing football too," said James.

"Dang ain't no body doing Basketball?", asked Mulah.

"My baby Auggy is. Him and Kenn," answered Kay.

"Hmm. Kennnnnnn," teased JJ.
"Bye," I walked out.

I walked all the way too Rory and Alexanders.

"What you want little shortcake?", asked the guy who was at my door yesterday.

"Alexander," I answered.
"Let's go," barged in Alexander.

We all walked to Alexander car and hopped in.

"I appreciate it," I buckled up.

"Yea yea. You just lucky your dad saved my life," said Alexander. "It's the only reason I drive y'all around and watch out for y'all".
