I walked out of the room, looked down the hall and saw nothing. It was gone, just like that. Then, I realized how wrong I was. The door slammed, I was locked out, watching through the small window as the creature devoured all the students and even the teacher in the room. I ran for the exit, then darted home, full speed, no stopping, just straight home.
That night I didn't sleep, I didn't eat breakfast the next morning, and didn't pack my lunch. I walked to school, looking around every corner, checking every shadow. Nothing, nothing was following me, nothing was haunting me. Well that's a lie, my memories from yesterday were haunting me. When I got to the school building it was closed for a police investigation. What did I expect, of course it was. I doubt they would ever find the beast that did it. It was closed for the next couple days.
During my few days of rest I decided to go out and walk around, talk to people, maybe go to a movie. But no matter where I went disaster followed, and so did the creature. I was walking around the park and it ran out from a grove and attacked every thing it could touch, there was so much blood, so much pain, so much horror. I ran off shortly after the beast retreated, I went to a movie theater. I sat down to watch a simple, peaceful movie. It was one of those kids movies that had a big lesson that the children should learn. About an hour into the movie there's this loud rumbling. Before I could even blink a huge monster bursted through the screen and ripped each person in each row it could reach it to shreds. Few people survived, but it completely avoided me. It was like I was a magnet for this beast and it followed me every where I go making sure I would be eternally in fear for those around me.
On the first day after the school opened back up I refused to go, and no one was hurt. The day was normal, till there was a knock on my door. It was a young police officer. I don't remember his name. He asked me to go with him. I took a step out of my house and so did the beast, it came from behind me then attacked the officers. I tried to turn away but my eyes were fixed on the flesh of the man being slowly wrenched off each bone, the sound was one of nightmares. The worst part was he was still alive as his muscle was ripped from his bones. When he finally perished the creature stopped, and disappeared once more.
The next few days were ones of solitude, the beast showed up in my room. This time it spoke, and address me directly. It ensured me that these atrocities will continue as long as I wanted them to. But I didn't ask for this, I didn't want this. That was a lie. I always wanted this, pain is such a sweet gift and I wanted to share mine with every one. I headed to school, it was about mid day, time for third period, my favorite. I barged into the room and the creature lunged at the teacher while I kept every one from leaving. One little weasel got out, but what can he do. The feast continued to the last morsel. Then I heard sirens. And before I knew it I was here.
