Downfall
~Life keeps going on,
Going round and round.
Even if it seems like hell,
The world won't hear a sound.
It's only when it's grown,
When it will ever matter.
But by then it's much too late,
And we will break and shatter.
Nothing will be done,
For fixing is impossible.
And so for now life is short,
With regret and failure more probable.
But with some light perhaps,
Something can be done.
Even if it only stalls destruction,
It's better than jumping the gun.~
