The Truth

Chapter 2:

Jaden's POV

She pushed me off of her and walked out the room. I turned to my side and watched her silhouette disappear. I'm so confused. What did I do? I'm a boy, if you don't tell me that there is something wrong, how am I suppose to know? Why do girls have to be so complicated?

Lisa's POV

I walked out the room, without saying anything. I was confused. I didn't want to tell him what's the matter because I don't want him to think that I'm trying to tell him to not hang out with Justin. I still want him to have freedom, but not too much. I just don't want to seem clingy. I decided to make dinner. I was going to make my famous ziti. Everyone loves when I make it. For some reason I couldn't find the pasta noodles. I walked over to the stove and reached for the top cabinet, but I couldn't reach it. I huffed in frustration and turned around to see Jaden staring at me.

"Did I do something wrong?"

When I looked at him, he looked so sad.

I walked over to him and slung my arms around his neck.

He looked up at me and gave me a sympathetic smile.

"You didn't do anything wrong"

"Then why won't you tell me what's the matter?"

I took my hands from around his neck.

"Because I don't feel like telling you"

"But babe, I tell you everything"

"So, that's doesn't mean I have tell you everything"

"But babe I-"

I took a step back and my hand infront if his face, silencing him.

"But, nothing, I don't feel like taking about it, get over it"

I turned around to walk back into the kitchen, to be pulled back into his chest.

"Jaden stop" I murmured

"Why, I want to comfort you"

"What if I don't want to be comforted?"

He turned me around by my shoulders and caressed my cheek.

"Why won't you let me love you?"

"I-I don't know"

"I'm not going to hurt you"

"That's what they all say"

"But babe I'm not them"

"Okay"

I quickly walked over to the TV and turned it on before another word could be spoken. I switched to the news because I can be boring like that. For some reason they were talking about a zombie invasion. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so I turned the volume up on the TV. The news caster said to lock our doors and stay inside. I was in absolute shock. I turned towards Jaden and he was staring at me with his mouth open.
