Poem 1:

Ravens

Ravens circle around me smelling my death to come. I curl in a ball hoping to block out the sound. My clothes were ripped and torn from hours and hours of running.

The first raven swooped down towards me. I braced my self for the pain to come. The first raven bit into my skin ripping a piece off. I screamed in agony, a single tear slipped down my cheek.

More birds flew down tearing off my flesh piece by piece. More tears poured down my face knowing my end was near. The tearing stopped and I slowly looked down to my body. I was pink and i knew I was going to die really soon. I was lying in a pool of blood, my blood

A final raven cawed and cascaded down to my position. It stopped on my chest staring at me with it's beady little eyes. I whimpered closing my eyes. It's talons dug into my chest grabbing my heart. I cried out in pain. My heart was ripped out of my chest and the bird flew away satisfied. My body went limp ending my existence
