Ember Pack
Nearly thousand years ago a pack was formed by moon goddess herself to symbolize the strength and purity of werewolves. The two most trusted deevotes of moon goddess were made the alphas of the pack. One deevote was made the alpha of east territory of the pack and the other was made alpha of the west territory. The pack land was equally divided among them.
The two didn't had there mates, but they also wanted someone to look after the pack which they have formed with so much hard work and care. They took this matter to moon goddess.
"find two such werewolf children who will be trained to become the alphas of the west and east territory of the pack and their future generations will rule the pack. But both the children and their coming generations should be crowned alphas together only, otherwise the pack will be destroyed" said the moon goddess.
The two devotees found two orphan boys and trained them to become the alpha of the territories of the pack. Andrew Martin and his coming generations ruled the east territory and Stefan Wilson and his generations ruled the west territory.
Although the alphas were divided but the pack was one. Following the order of moon goddess of 'alphas of both territory being crowned at same time' the pack grew larger and larger and became stronger and stronger.
If in case it is impossible to crown both the alphas at the same time, then a temporary leader was decided by the guardians [under the instructions of moon goddess] who would rule the entire pack for the time being.
Till now such a situation has occurred only once in 1800s when nephew of the luna of the west territory was made the sole alpha or leader of the pack. He ruled the pack for nearly 7 months.
