chapter 3

As soon as I faced him he engulfed me in a warm hug.  "Hi bog" I chuckled as he let me go.
"Kate I missed you so much." he said staring deep into my eyes.
"But I really enjoyed my time without you stealing my god damn food and your rages" I said .
He fake frowned.
"I'm kidding. of course I missed you."
His eyes lit up and he reached to his pocket and got something out.
"I got you a little something." he nervously said.
"I hope you like it." he added.
Ooh Harry's got me something. I love surprise gifts yay!
He handed my a little square box neatly wrapped in a matte black paper. Fancy I thought.
"Go on." He mugged me to open it.
I tore the wrapper and it revealed a little sliver butterfly pendant on it.
"Aww Harry you remembered?!?."
"Of Course I did. You are my best friend!" He smiled warmly.
I hugged him again and then we got back into the class.
See Harry and I have know eachother since we were we little kids. He moved into my neighbourhood and we still live about three blocks away from eachother. We did have feelings for eachother when we were 13. We dated. But we broke it of because we were better off as friends.

*time skip to lunch*
The classes were boring as usual....and now I'm in the cafeteria with Macey waiting for the others.
"So how's your brother?" Macey questioned me.

"That lucky bastard, living the life of his dreams." I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey it's not that bad here, is it?" she asked

"Absolutely not, but I do wanna move in with him one day." I said dreaming about it.

"You wanna move to where?" I heard someone behind me
I turned around to find Simon and others near our table. they sat down.

"Oh I was just talking about how I wanted to move in with my brother one day" I shrugged.

He looked kinda hurt and said,
"Leaving all of us?"

"No, Its not like I'm gonna be gone forever. Maybe stay with him for a year or so. Heck I don't wanna think about it now. I just got back." I said smiling at the all the guys.

Simon gave me a half smile and a nod.
I reached and grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.  He is a very sensitive guy and I don't want to ever hurt his feelings.

"Hey on a lighter note there is a party at Callum's (Callux) house tomorrow evening. Y'all wanna go?" Ethan asked us.

"Yeah sure why not?" I said looking over at Macey  who looked a bit unsure.

"It's on a week day I don't to come to school with a hangover." she said .

"Cmon May you don't have to drink, I'll keep you company." I winked at her.

"Yeah Kate's right it'll be fuuunnnn." Ethan pleaded.

"Ok whatever. I'll drive you all home." Macey agreed.

The lunch was over and now is tarted walking to my English class. "Katie wait up."
I looked around to see Simon jogging to catch up with me.

"Sup Si?"

"Do you want to grab some food today after school? We have a lot to catch up and plus we haven't hung out in a looooooonnng time." He looked up at me with hopeful eyes.

Oh those eyes...how could I say no to them. I could stare all day at his beautiful ocean blue orbs. I feel butterflies in my stomach.

He coughed to get my attention. "So you wanna go?"

"um.. yeah sure definitely.". I stuttered embarrassed that I've just been caught staring at him.

"Ok so I'll pick you up at 6. Byeeeee." He said squeezing me and flashing me his beautiful smile before walking towards his class.

I got into my class and sat down smiling like an idiot. Of course I know this is not a date. Cmon we are best friends. Nothing more. It's just he makes me so happy. I can't help but have a HUMONGOUS crush on that dork.
