The day was just like any other day. Apart from the falling down holes in the sky, But, it started off like any other.
First thing Jeth did was grab his headphones of the table and immediately of course. The sound of his favourite music came through and he stared out the window to check the weather. Warm, but raining. It was strange but Jeth was used to the constant sunny days that so often featured warm rain.
The rain wasn't bad especially as it wasn't cold. It made his hair have a slight wave to it. The hair framed his face so perfectly. Short but floppy, Dark and slightly curly.
He walked past the mirror and took the time to check his appearance. He always thought he looked terrible in the mornings. He stopped briefly to look at his cheeks; they were the only thing he liked about himself. Perfectly pronounced cheekbones with a sharp edge to them. Slightly rosy red and highlighted. They certainly didn't look out of place against his pale skin.
"Dog!" he called "Dog come here"
Dog was Jeth's cat. The pair complemented each other beautifully. Dog was Jet black and fluffy with gorgeous amber eyes, almost magical.
When dog sat on him you couldn't see where dog ended and Jeth began. Just a mass of black.
Jeth called for dog one last time and a warm fluffy ball came skidding in through the black kitchen, running up to him before landing with a soft 'thump' on the floor.
Jeth looked at dog and waited a beat before bursting into fits of laughter. It was all too funny, the look on Dog's face. It felt good to laugh. Jeth hadn't laughed for so long, he couldn't even remember laughing. Dog was good for him. He needed laughter in his life.
