max screamed and fell to the cold had floor, it was her fault she told Kate that she shouldn't have told the police but i guess she should've if it meant she could stay breathing.
THE NEXT MORNING:
Max woke up and Chloe was at her bedside, for once she actually looked at max with a slight tear in her eye instead of a smile, Chloe whispered "its okay, max ..." she paused as if she was lost for words it didn't seem like her he continued to say "max, you need a day out lets go to the beach or something, just anywhere that isn't a crime scene, ill take you, a girls day out, like the old days"
Max slowly removed her duvet and slid her skinny pale legs till she was sat on the edge of her bed "i guess i do need time away from here can i stay at your house tonight. and maybe a few other days too." max seemed quiet, less herself , but she crept up to her wardrobe and picked out some clothes. She didn't even ask Chloe what to wear like they used to, shed grown up alot since she left 5 years prior to collage and chloe had become more of a rebel...

Chloe drove to her house, ignoring step-twat on his welcome, max remembered all the happy days shed had at Chloe's house, in her pink room. Chloe's room now was black the smell of smoke and drugs nearly knocked Max over it seemed she wasn't the only one that had changed.
Chloe yelled "lets play dares" as she turned on the radio. Max agreed and sat on the black weed-smelling bed, "right, Max i dare you to kiss me on the cheek" following Chloe orders max leaned in for a kiss, Chloe's head jolted round. Max realised shed just kissed Chloe... on the lips. They started laughing and Max went bright red. "okay Chloe, i dare you to kiss me, properly". Chloe leaned in and their lips locked on to one another like it was meant to be. Chloe slowly advanced and pushed Max's body till she was lying with Chloe on top of her. Max paused and said "Now i dare you to let me be with you forever..." they slowly locked lips again till Chloe calmly fell on to the other side of the bed. Chloe said softly "maybe we should go get food from the diner for a change, and you can see my mum again" they got back in the car and disappeared in to the midday sun...
