i had to realize it someday. my star-crossed lover of my life.... was gone.
she passed away from a serious car crash. she had a late shift, and was coming over to my place. as she was crossing the street, a drunk driver didn't know where he was going. he was ten miles over the speed limit, and hit her right as she was in the middle of the road. a pretty light bail was on the driver, which irritates me. she deserves justice. not this easy-to-reach bail anybody could pay.
i got to visit her. in her last dying moments. i remember.... the memory brings me to tears.
"hobi oppa.... don't cry." you smiled, and i was sniffling. the doctor had told me to say goodbye; there wasn't a large chance she'd survive. i wiped my tears, and kissed her hand. "jagiya, i'll always love you." she said "please move on. you'll find someone better than me. bye bye, hobi oppa."
"no! no!" i spammed the nurse button, but the doctor told me there was nothing they could do. she was gone.
i miss you. i really miss you. i should've picked you up. i should've made sure you were safe. i can't believe i was so stupid.
but i have to move on.
goodbye, jagiya. someday, i'll see you in heaven.
