"So where are we going?" I ask James as we make our way onto the highway. "The lake." He replies. I slightly smile and reply to a text from my best friend, Macy.
I push the handle back on the car door and walk down to the end of the boardwalk.
I pull out my iPhone and snap a picture of the sunset, before adding a filter and posting it on my Instagram.
"So what you doing tommorow?" James asks me.
"Probably just gonna hang out around the house." I reply, then add "you?"
"Probaby hit up the mall." He answers.
time skip to the next day
I wake up to the sound of my mom's dog barking. I roll over to my bedside table and grab my phone, scrolling through social media.
I finally get up and begin to get ready for the day.
I finish applying my makeup and walk out into the kitchen to get breakfast started.
I crack and scramble a couple eggs before plopping a few bacon strips on the skittlet.
I turn the TV on and watch the newest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardasians.
I wash my dishes and decide to chill around the house all day.
Suddenly my phone rings.
I answer the phone to hear Macy's voice on the other line.
"Nadica...its James." She says, sounding destressed.
This can't be good...
"What?! What happened?"
"H-he was arrested.."
