A simple question,
that means so much
A simple word,
my heart is crushed.
To tell me something
I don't want to hear,
Is to fill my soul
with a burning fear.
I wait and wait,
but you never come.
My hands are shaking,
you're already done.
I never meant anything.
You've already moved on.
Someone new's in your life.
These feelings are wrong.
Something has happened,
You hate me now.
That's why you ignore me.
That's why you put me down.
What could have been,
will never be.
This love can't happen,
And it's all because of me.
I'm being held under
By my anxiety.
I won't stop worrying,
And I can't breathe.
So now, I'm drowning,
While you stand.
I'm slowly dying,
And you're tanning on the sand.
