"SLEEPOVER!" Griffin shouts as he walks comes into my room.
"Griff, hush, don't you see that she is trying to listen to music?" Aurora scolds as she sits on my bed.
"It's okay, Rora. I was getting ready to turn my music off anyway," I say while taking my headphones off.
"No, let's listen to what you're listening to," she demands.
"Rora, you don't have to be so mean about it," Griff says with an eye roll.
"I'm not being mean."
"Yeah, you kinda are, Rora," I chime in.
"Oh, sorry," Rora apologizes.
"It's okay," I assure her as I plug my phone into my speaker. The song 180 by Alexi Blue comes on.
Griff jumps up, "This is my song!" Rora and I laugh at his excitement before we join him.
Oh, how rude of me, my name is Arabella Torres or Bella for short. I'm 16 going on 17. I describe myself as a normal girl with crazy, weird, and awesome best friends. I'm also the fashionista and photographer in our group.
Meet Aurora Moore, or Rora for short. She is also 16 going on 17. Aurora is the artist in the group. She paints, draws, sculpts, pretty much anything that involves art, Aurora's your girl.
Last, but definitely not least, is Griffin Brooks or Griff for short. He is 17 going on 18. Griffin is the over dramatic, the clown, and the theater geek of the group. Griffin is the person to go to if you need to be cheered up.
The three of us are close, children at heart, and we are going to be seniors this school year. We aren't popular and we aren't nerds, we are just an average group of teens. We have known each other since kindergarten.
After dancing to a couple more songs, we lay down on the floor for a bit.
"Anyone else hungry?" I ask while getting up.
"Of course," they chorus. We head downstairs and we find my mom taking chocolate chip cookies out of the oven.
"COOKIES!" we yell.
My mom jumped and almost dropped the cookies. "Kids!" she scolds.
"Sorry," we whispered.
"Don't you guys think that it would be good to eat a real meal before eating cookies?" The only thing that we could eat that isn't cookies is cereal. I don't think that counts. We could order food, but that's going to take a long time, so cookies are the only thing that we could eat. "I made you guys homemade mac and cheese and chicken strips." Oh, did I mention that my mom is a famous chef? My family isn't super rich and my mom goes by her maiden last name instead of our last name, so no one at school knows about my mom's fame. People think that she isn't home because she has a secret lover. I hate people well, except for Griffin and Aurora. Oh, and my older brother, Max.
"Hey, Bella, do you want to watch a movie while we eat?" Rora asks while gesturing to the TV with her plate.
We walk over to the living room and sit on the floor. "So," I ask, "what do you guys want to watch?"
"How about Divergent?" Griff suggests.
"No! It's nothing like the book!" I exclaim.
"Looks like I hit a nerve," Griff mumbles.
"How about Mean Girls?" Mom suggests while walking by.
"Nah, we watch that almost all the time," Rora points out.
"How about Pitch Perfect?" I suggest.
"PERFECT!" Griff exclaims. I turn to Rora who nods her head in agreement. After dinner, tons of jokes, laughter, cookies, bowls of mac and cheese (it's really good), singing, dancing, and more cookies, we finished the movie.
"What now?"Rora questions.
"Gossip?"Griff asks. When we gossip it's not like regular gossip, it's pretty much a what happened since last time we had a sleepover and other things.
"Well, as you guys know, Ben and I have been getting pretty serious. Ben still wants to be together after this year, but I don't know if I still want to," Rora confesses.
"What makes you feel this way?" Griff questions very intrigued like a therapist.
"Lately he has been hinting that I should give myself to him, but I'm not ready."
"Rora, if I can be honest, he really just wants to have sex with you and then leave you afterwards. This I still want to be with you bullshit, is bullshit. I'd rather see you crying over a breakup than crying over being used," I state.
"Are you sure?" Rora worries.
"Rora, trust Bella on this one," Griff pleads.
"Okay, but what am I supposed to do?"
"If Ben keeps hinting and does things to make it seem like he wants to have sex with you then you should break up with him. You don't want to be with someone who pressures you into doing something that you don't want to do," I finish.
"Thanks guys."
"No problem, Rora."
"Me next!" Griff yells. "You guys know how the school's musical is Aladdin this year? Well, I auditioned and I got the part of the genie!" We watch as Griff jumps up and down excitedly.
"That's amazing, Griff!" Rora and I cheer as we jump up and hug him.
"I know, I'm so excited!" After more cheers and jumping, we sit down.
"I guess that it's my turn now," I say. I don't know what to say. Much hasn't happened. It's the beginning of November and I'm getting into the routine of senior year.
"What's up with Callen?" Rora asks.
"Ugh, don't get me started on that jackass. Let's see, he's still annoying as fuck, a pain in my ass, and he still bothers me."
"Well, at least you have one more year left with him, Bella," Griff points out.
"Thankfully." After more gossiping, we ate some more cookies, then one by one we pass out. Yep, that's how our sleepovers usually goes.

That's the chapter!
New story!
How do you guys like it so far? I have been planning to write this story for about a month and a half, I just couldn't figure out how to execute it.
I'm trying so hard to not write much dialogue, but it's hard for me.
Thanks for reading, Stormies!
xoxo,
Aless
