Chapter Five

Landen Torres above!!! I can't with this picture right now <3 <3 A few POV switches.

After spending more time with Landen, it was time for our sleepover. 

"Are you really kicking me out?" Landen whines. Callen chuckles behind. "I didn't ask for anything from the peanut gallery," Landen aims at Callen. "Please, Airbear!" 

It is difficult to not give into his begging. He is my big brother and he just came back home, so it would make sense to let him stay, but our group has plans for tonight. I sigh, "Lan, I love you, but we have plans tonight." He pouts. I hate him so much right now. "How about we hang out tomorrow after school?" He nods excitedly. I swear Landen is like a little kid sometimes. 

"When will we work on our project?" Callen ponders.

Landen raises a brow at me to which I wave him off. "We can work on Saturday if you aren't busy doing anything," I suggest.

Callen's POV

She actually wants to do this. I thought that she just wanted to work on it towards the middle of the school year. 

"Hello?" her annoyed voice broke me out of my little trance.

I cough, "Um, sure, Saturday works." She nods. I watch as Lan and Arabella hug. 

"Come on Cal, we have shit to do," Lan mumbles as he walks by. I follow him to the car. "Dude, did you get more whipped while I was gone?" Shit, he realized it too.

"Yeah, I kinda did." He laughs. "Hey, but can you blame me? Arabella is just so adorable, feisty, -"

"Hey! That's my sister! Calm the fuck down, horny ass."

"I'm not horny!" He gives me a really look. "Okay, fine, maybe a little, but not a lot. I'm just...I'm just..what's the word?"

"In love? Lovesick? Shall I go on?" I glare at Landen. "Hey, you may be mad, but I'm just stating facts."

"Whatever."

Arabella's POV

"Happy Birthday, Griffin!"Car, Rora, and I shout. His birthday is tomorrow, but he wanted to have a sleepover tonight.

"Thank you, thank you my loving friends. I would like to thank my best friend Carter for coming back home for my birthday. Arabella and Aurora for encouraging me in my drama adventures. Lastly, I would like to thank Mrs. Torres for being like a mother to me, and making me a delicious cake!" Oh, how I love my dramatic ass friend. 

"You are welcome, Griffin. Now hurry and eat this cake before Landen finds out that you guys had cake without him."

After eating many pieces of cake each, we played games like Just Dance and we sang karaoke. Why? It was our drama friend's birthday so anything that included singing and dancing, we most likely did. 

Currently, the four of us are sitting around the fireplace drinking mocha lattes.

"Bella, can your mom make this all the time?" Rora moaned.

"Sure, if she has time."

Rora and Griff fell asleep a while ago. The best part of tonight was that they were arguing about some play and then they both passed out. Carter was smart enough to take a video of their bickering and he got them on video. The two of us sat there laughing our asses off for a while. 

After our laughter died down, we eventually laid down to go to sleep.

I woke up a while ago. It's around three in the morning. I'm sitting on the front porch in our swing. 

The creaking of wood catches my ear. I whip my head to the door to see Carter coming outside. He strides over to me and sits down next to me while adjusting my blanket over himself also.

"Couldn't sleep either?" I ask.

He shakes his head, "No, then I saw that you weren't sleeping, so I went to find you. I found you."

I giggle, "Yep, you found me."

"Do I get a reward?"

"Should you get a reward?" I question.

"Yeah, I should. I already have one in mind, too."

"Oh really? Like what?"

"Hmmm. Will you be my girlfriend again?"

"I don't know, will I?"

"I'm not joking, Ara. I really want to know."

I don't know about this. I still like Carter, but it seems too soon. I want to say yes, but something is telling me to say no. Eh, what the hell, our relationship was full of risks last time. Time to make new risks. 

"Yes, Car, I will be your girlfriend again."

"Yay! I thought that you were going to say no." He gives me a hug, "I won't kiss you now, but soon." 

"Okay," I laugh.

She said yes to him.

Fuck, now I have no chance.

How was it?

Griffin's Birthday. Arabella and Carter a couple now. Callen heard them. Wow, what a chapter.

Sorry that I updated late. I was busy watching Assassin's Creed II videos. I really want to see the movie.
