AUTHORS NOTE: I felt like trying a different style, to see if it works :)

You are an aspiring Hunter at Beacon. You've been lacking in certain skills: specifically your combat skills with your night shaded gauntlets with blue linings with six slit exhaust ports and a large circular lenses. The weapon is fully operational it's just your agility and stamina that's needing work.

One day you were out doing some training - private training - and out of the blue you encounter team RWBY. They were going through team attacks and naming them with some interesting names like: Ladybug, WhiteRose and Bumblebee. You saw how coordinated they were and thought 'what's the point,' next thing you know you're practically sulking at yourself and felt so weak and insignificant compared to everyone else.

Then your ray of light starts to glimmer, or rather it hit you like a punch to the head as a golden blur smashed into you. Yang Xiao Long had bumped into you, landing on top of you while you portrayed a cushion for her.

You've seen Yang numerous amount of times in Beacon. You make small talk with her at lunch and sometimes asks her questions that you already knew the answer to,just to either start a short conversation or to possibly get to know her. She's everything that you want to be: strong, confident and overall competent in fighting.

Funny enough when you two cleared up any misleading actions, she saw your nightly weapons and offered a sparring session. But you admitted to her that you weren't as good as her. She didn't care. But instead of walking away, she offered to train with you. So like an idiot you say yes immediately. This is where you are now.

Here you are, standing in front of the statue which had two hunters ruling over a defeated Beowolf. Waiting on your training partner. Students were all enjoying the sunlight, in their groups. While you were mostly alone, but you didn't mind that. It gives you time to think on how to make yourself look like a decent fighter in Yang's soft lilac eyes.

"Alright stupid, how're you gonna impress someone like Yang?" you ask yourself while ruffling your hair inside your beanie.

"Maybe tell her you severely injured yourself fighting off eight ursa minors and two majors and now you're nowhere near as good as you were before," you persuade yourself, "Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with that."

You start picturing the made belief fight in your head with your eyes darting back and forth while gesturing your slightly hands almost like a conductor. You soon see a familiar figure at the walkway. The yellow endearing interest was making her way towards your direction. You jolt up and brush your wears vigorously and try to look good: by crossing your arms and looking up in the sky. Like a model in a photo shoot.

'She's just like any other girl, just keep your cool. Even though we're both first year students she excel's much more than you could ever do, I mean what's the worst that could happen,' you think to yourself as a aching feeling starts to grow in your throat: like it was going to swell up to the size of a balloon.

She gets closer and closer. The further she got, the more you could see her attractive smile of hers: so perky and full of life. Her hair waving side to side carefree, how you've yearned to know how it felt in your hands for how soft it looks.

The girl in the tan vest was now right in front of you.

"Hey! Glad you could make it," she greets you with a friendly manner. Her right arm quickly jabs at your left arm.

"Yeah, I mean how could I say no," you reply jokingly while you gently tap her shoulder.

"Let's get going then, I wanna see how you are in action!" she admits with excitement while doing an air fist gesture.
