Louis' POV

I fidgetted with my fingers on the couch while my head lay in my bestfriend and flatmate, Harry's, lap. He was watching to some show I didn't know the name of and seemed pretty into it as he shoveled popcorn into his mouth. I exhaled loudly trying to get his attention. He didn't even flinch. I dramatically exhaled and moved my hands along with it.

Finally the idiot I trust with my life looked to me as I removed my head and sat up. I ran a hand through my hair, whilst moving my legs to sit criss-cross on the couch.

"Nervous about tomorrow?" Harry asked me.

"Well, I'm kind of going to be jumping off the roof of a five story building onto a small mat, so yeah, I am nervous," I said bitterly. I didn't mean to, but I was so freaked out about tomorrow.

"Why'd you even take a part of a stunt double?" Harry wondered aloud.

"Because Harry, I want to act. I want to see my name rolling down down the black screen of the credits. I don't want my name in Sharpie on a stupid plastic name tag. I want my name to be spelled out in big, bold letters on the side of the Cinema. Not at the bottom of a reciept that says Your Waiter Today Was. The feeling that I get when I act... is indescribable. I need to act like I need to breath. I need to be in big name movies. And this is the way to get there. One small part at a time. We can't all be like you and write one hit wonders and have our song played over and over again on the radio," I said, the last part may have been a teensy bit resentful. But I was happy for him I really was, and the song was truly amazing.

"Hey, Don't Let Me Go will not be a one hit wonder, I have started writing other songs too," he said his nose in the air.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah? Because the song you sing about not being able find the remote every other night is not what I call poetry," I teased.

"Shut up Lou... how did you even land a part as a stunt double? Don't you have to be really athletic and have some sort of training?"

"I'm athletic!" I defended myself, sitting up a tad straighter. He raised an eyebrow, "Sorta..." I sunk back into my seat, "It's not like your anymore athletic than I am, Bigfoot."

He rolled his eyes, "Anyways, training. You have to have training of some sort right?"

I began to play with my fingers again, not too proud of why I got a role as a stunt double.

"Hmm? I'm waiting."

"I may have lied the smallest bit on my resume..."

"How much did you have to lie to jump of a buliding?!"

"I may have said that I was maybe, sorta, a little bit, part of a not-so well known skydivingteam," I rushed the last two words so he couldn't hear them as well. Harry stood up in disbelief.

"You told tham that you were on a skydiving team? What in the world would posses you to even think about that?"

"Hey! Everybody lies on their resume!"

"No, no they don't," he began to pace. "Skydiving? What made you think of skydiving?"

"It sounds cool and its a spy movie I thought it would get me some street cred," Harry legitimately face palmed, "Hey! It's not like I knew I was gonna have to jump off a building!"

"You are an idiot."

"I could say the same about you," I retorted.

"Yeah but I'm not about to jump off a building," he said sitting down and slinging an arm around my shoulders, "But you know I'll support you in whatever you do. You are my best mate after all," he assured me and placed a kiss on my cheek, making me smile.
