Two and A Whole

As I was on the call with my mother I could hear Charlie's wet denim against the cold metal table. She look blue when I had gone over to the swing and even though She looked sad she was so very beautiful. Her eyes were light brown with just a subtle hint of green in them her skin was pale and her lips and cheeks had hints of pink in them. I didn't know how I felt about her she seemed different.

"So do you live far?" I asked

"I live a few blocks away not to far" she had a faint laugh

"So how long have you been here?"

"A little over a month now"

"Have you seen much of it?"

"No I've been pretty busy unpacking so I haven't gotten a chance to see anything"

"I'll have to take you out sometime"

"Okay" She said with a smile

God Her smile was beautiful...

She stopped in front of a house it was fairly large it was painted baby blue with white trim and a red door.

She pulled a key out of her pocket and slipped it into the lock she turned the key and opened the door.

She slid her shoes off onto the mat next to her door and set her keys down onto a table.

I did the same with my shoes and followed Her up the stairs into a room with tan couches a tv a coffee table and boxes against

The wall behind the couch.

"I'll be right back" she whispered and then left

Into a long hall she then opened a door and walked in.

She walked out of the room with some joggers a grey shirt and some new white boxers. She began to walk towards me and when she reached me some had handed me the cloths.

"Here you can change into these in that room at the end of the hall on the left."

"Thank you"

"Your welcome"

As I reached the door and opened it i had realised the she was behind me but as soon as I got into the room and shut the door

When I walked out her door was slightly open and I could barely see her in her mirror. She was putting on a maroon shirt and had some grey sweat pants on her bed she wasn't paying attention.

I knocked on the frame of the door and watched her come

"Sorry it took so long I couldn't find my pants" she said with a chuckle

I had my wet cloths in my hand all rolled up

"Do you have a dryer?" yeah it's downstairs follow me"

We walked down to the basement and into the laundry room

"Do you Want to wash it?"

"Yeah sure"

I tossed it into the washed and then stood next to her as she turned on the washer and poured in some soap.

We began walking up the stairs to the family room or I thought we were until she started walking to the kitchen.

Boxes were everywhere by their were three bar stools under the breakfast bar

"you want to help me?"

"Help with what?"

"Snacks"

"Yeah"

She grabbed three bowls a pack of popcorn chocolate and some sprinkles.

"Have you ever had chocolate popcorn?"

"Never... is that what you're making?"

"Yup wanna help?"

"Yes"

"Okay so turn the stove on medium here is a sauce pan and

The chocolate into the pan let it melt don't burn it"

"Okay I got this"

She pulled out some hot chocolate and some milk

and poured the milk into two cups and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes and once they were done she pulled them out and added the chocolate powder in.

After everything was done we put it into a tray and took it to the family room placed it on the coffee table and Sat on the couch.

"What do you wanna watch?" she asked me

"Scary movie?"

"Okay... um saw?"

"Yeah sure"

This being a scary movie hopefully she would get scared enough and casually crawl into my arms. PLEASE WORK PLEASE WORK PLEASE WORK I screamed in my head

"Wanna watch a comedy?"

"Yeah sure"

"Okay you pick"

"How do you feel about white chicks"I asked

She turned tword me and looked me dead in the eye

"You like that movie?"

"Yes why?"

"That was my favorite movie when I was 7"

"No way" I exclamed

"Me too" this was a breakthrough we had the same childhood favorite movie

"Okay put it on"

The movie started and she seemed to be enjoying herself every now and then glancing at me

Her laugh was so amazing just watching her stare at the screen and watch this movie was a joy she was amazing flawless. God did I want to know her better.

The movie was over and the snacks were gone and I caught a glimps of a trampoline in her backyard.

"Ya wanna go outside?" I asked

"Yeah sure" she responded with a smile
