Hey everyone my name is Janell Oakley. Our family have moved to London England because of my mom's new job in Nursing. And you know what that means... that's right, new school, new people and a new live. Oh I forgot to mention it's my senior year too, how bunk is that? London can't be that bad? Right, I mean I have always wanted to go here but not move here. Senior year is going to suck!
"Janell get up!" I hear my mom call from down stairs. Moaning, I still have jet lag, this sucks. "I know," yelling back at my mom. I slowly roll out of bed and head to my bathroom. Looking at my clock, 6:00 am? I never get up this early, oh well. 'Okay, school starts at 7:50. So I need to get to school at least by 7:25 so I don't look like a loser trying to find my classes'. 'Cool that leaves me an hour to get ready'. I finally go into my closet to see what I wanted to wear. Luckily this school doesn't make you wear uniforms. I picked out a light gray loose tank-top, a coral cardigan with a white scarf, black skinny jeans and my brown leather boots. Walking back into the bathroom, looking at my long brown hair I decide to curl loose curls. Applying some mascara and a little bit of cover-up. Next brushing my teeth because who wants morning breath. Eww. Looking at my gray/blue eyes making sure nothings out of place. Walking out of my room I grab my phone and bag making my way down to the living room.
I walk into the open plan living room to see my mom and my dad the kitchen. "Hurry up and eat or you'll one late for school." I hear my dad say. I walk into the kitchen and put a piece bread into the toaster and sat down at the counter. Looking down at my phone, "its 12:00pm in Utah, Boo none of my friends are awake." I say to myself. Hearing the toaster pop I grab the piece of toast and spread butter and put some cinnamon sugar on it. "Its 7:10 Janell, better get to school okay?" I hear my mom say. I give them each a hug and head to the door. I see my new Lexis in the driveway. Relaxing in the leather seats. 'This is goin be a long day.'
