Chapter 1- Bored To Death

To start off, I come from a mafia, we are the head boss in the richest illegal business. The Crystal Snakes is what our family is called from generations since the business began; we sell, buy, and trades our weapons and drugs from underground tunnels. To my brothers they seem to have disappeared in the act, while I stayed behind hiding from the insanity of this family.

My last mission was to execute our recent customer "The Dead Eyes" they couldn't keep up with their payment, so now it's my job to get rid of them and get our supplies back. Sadly it didn't went well for me, they found out our plans and later I was taken.

It didn't take me long to escape and kill the group who took me, but for my family it would have been better if I died than being late on a mission. They took me out of the group to train harder and faster, but I'm just taking my time relaxing and enjoying the peace.

That's what brings me here, resting on my couch watching whatever is on T.V. while eating a big bar of chocolate. I've never felt so relaxed until right now, this is the life.

I was hungry for something sweeter, but to my despair there was no more snacks or food waiting to be eaten. I grabbed my wallet and my skateboard, and rushed out to the nearest convenience store. I stopped in front of the doors of heaven, which was also covered in grafitti and trash.

As I walked inside I started hearing people talking and raving about this "Hunter Exam" This started to intrigue me more into the conversation. I quietly listen for new intel.

Turns out that the hunter exam is impossible to pass, out of thousands of applicants only few survives through the harsh phases. I started to get a weird smirk on my face thinking of how I can get into this Exam.

I finished my thoughts after I've paid for the snacks and walking towards home. It would be fun to go out once in a while during my "vacation" So it is decided, I'm heading out to the Hunter Exam!

Once I reached home I started packing in a duffel bag; a few clothes, about a million dollars, a small katana, some other things, and a picture of my family. Now I'm all set to go out, but I realized that I had forgotten something, my brothers.

Even though they go out on too many missions they still have time to check on me daily, It annoys me that about every five minutes I am scared to death seeing my brothers staring at me through a window or standing right next to me at random times.

I picked up my phone from my duffel bag and called them.

I waited for a few seconds until a voice finally appeared, the person who answered this was my oldest brother Hoshino.

This was going to be easy since Hoshino was very easy to manipulate, I might have my way with him.

**Phone call**

H- "So you're finally crawling back to us after you had learned your lesson (Y/n)?"

(Y/n)- "Shut up. No, I'm just leaving for a while to do something. I'm probably coming back in about 2 weeks. I just wanted to tell you two to not follow me during this time."

H- "Where are you going off to Missy?! You know you're in training! If Dad catches you, he'll kill you. Then he'll kill me for no reason at all!"

(Y/n)- "Well how about an agreement? You don't say a word to Dad, and... I won't tell Mom what you did during your days at "college"

H- "...."

H- "Fine. But if you do anything reckless to our reputation, Dad won't be able to kill you because I'll do it first."

(Y/n)- "Ok, whatever. It's a deal."

**Call Ends**

Now I can finally leave this place without any worry. I walked out of the house, excited to finally go on an adventure on my own.

I started walking towards the boat that was going to where the Hunter Exam is. The ship started to depart to the First Phase, this was starting to get me excited. As I looked around the boat I only see arrogant guys with buff muscles, looking at this myself I could almost die from laughter.

Deciding to ignore them I settled down on one of the boxes, took out my tablet and played on one of the apps. This got me distracted when I started feeling a little bit nervous. I turned my head toward north, I sensed a storm coming up soon, and it's a big one.

I grabbed my stuff and started walking towards the stairs which leads me to the level below. As I was walking I noticed that the blonde was staring at me, ignoring this fact I finally reached the floor below. I wonder what that guy was thinking when he was looking at me?

Shaking off that thought I walked around trying to find a room where I can't be bothered. I found a nice spot to lay down and listen to my music, or to play around in by myself.

A few minutes later passed, the storm is near us, but I didn't care if everybody else was motion sick. I was starving for something to eat, when I reached into my bag there was nothing to be found. I checked it twice but nothing, I decided to go upstairs for some food.
