[ Empire city, Day 14 of Quarantine ]

This was all just insane in my opinion, first off, the damn reapers think they own this place. My best friend was in direct contact with the area of which the explosion went off.. I thought he was dead for sure..luckily he answered he got to the hospital.
Hell I always knew cole was a tough dude but, surviving a bomb and getting superpowers? Seem a bit much for one guy to handle, but y'know I just, go with the flow.

"I thought you were gonna watch TV?". I herd Cole speak in a rough voice, the blast must have gave a voice change or somethin.

I set down my magazine and looked at cole.

"Ah the batteries are fried again, you mind ...putting on a freak show?."

Cole coughed.
"Sure, it'll at least its good for something.."

"Probably need to turn them all on" *I scratched my head.
"TVs a hog". I flipped up my magazine again and looked at it, I peeked to see what cole was doing.
Cole raised his arm and the electricity zapped around his arm like a battery, holy shit...these powers will be pretty useful later on. What a lucky guy to have such a new gift. Powerful one too.
Within a couple quick blasts he turned on the TV, hell faster then you can push a button!

"Whoo! Nice job man, TVs workin".

"Weird... It feels like I've gotten more power.."
Cole said those words while he stared at his hands watching the electricity zap.

"Really? I said a bit puzzled
"Try fryin those dummies over there, with all these nut balls running around it'd be nice to see how much juice your packin".

Cole started zapping the dummies quicker then I could move my eyes, its amazing how quickly he's gotten use to these powers.

Suddenly the buzz started coming from the TV.

"Hey its the TV jacker, ah man I love this guy." I chuckled while glancing over to Cole.

Cole muttered under his breathe
"Real show off isn't he."
Cole zapped the electricity through his hands, irritated by this guy.

But halfway through this guy talkin I hear this from the TV jacker.

"Listen y'all, they just dropped a crate of food in the park in towns square, better get over there before the reapers show up,who knows what they'll do to anyone who gets in their way. The government thinks they're giving us our fare share? Easy for them to say, they're not the ones living in this hell-hole voice of survival, out. "
He blocked out his camera with the palm of his hands , cutting out the signal.

"Well what do ya know, a box of food is down by the center of town, too bad those creeps are going after it."

"Well that's not gonna stop you from chowing down now is it."
Cole slightly laughed at his own remark.

"Hell no man, Zeke's gotta eat!"
"Now c'mon let's get there before the reapers do."

"You take the stairs...I'm taking the express elevator.."
Cole smirked as he ran toward the edge of the roof, then jumped down from the building, plummeting down at a very fast speed.

"Man, you get to have all the fun."
I laughed as I ran down the stairs quickly to catch up with cole, but its no use trying to catch up with that man. With his new super powers and all.
I ran up to Cole nearly panting from exhaustion, since the blast I didn't exactly get the chances to exercise and lose some weight, with all the terrorists around.

"Phew oh man that was one hell of a jump, wish I could do somthin like that, beats running down the stairs, that just sucks donkey balls."
I huffed and wheezed even more from running.
