Kim POV
"It's hot as the devil's toenails out here! She need to hurry up and open this door, didn't she tell you that she was here?" Faye asked me being over dramatic.
"We walked from the car to the door you'll live."
"With the possibility with all this chocolate melting away? I got hoes that I can't disappoint." He began fanning himself.
"Boy bye, and she coming now." I told him after hearing the door unlock.
"Hey bitch......ooh damn what happened to you?" Faye said looking at Rayne.
"I'm a little tired, what's up? What y'all doing here?" She replied.
"We came to see you, got people you thinking you fell off the face of the earth and shit. Are you gonna let us in a bitch getting faint." Faye rested the back of his hand against his forehead.
She stepped aside and opened the door a little more to let us inside. Rayne and I went into the living room while Faye was in the kitchen raiding Odell's refrigerator. From Rayne's demeanor I could tell something was wrong, hell a blind man could see it.
"I haven't heard from you in a while, what's been going on with you?" I asked her.
"Nothing just been chilling." She replied.
"How's Odell?"
"He's good."
"Rayne, how long have we known each other?"
"Since we were kids."
"So don't bullshit me, I saw the videos and the pictures. What's going on?" She shrugged her shoulders.
"To be honest I don't really know anymore. We haven't really been speaking to each other."
"But you've been here this whole time and you haven't spoke to him. You could've stayed with me or Faye."
"Bitch don't be volunteering me! I need to know in advance." He said coming into the living room sitting on the one seater.
"Stop acting like that."
"I'm thinking of her, she don't need to see what I do with my private time."
"And what exactly is it that you do?"
"Grown folk business." I shook my head at his crazy ass. Rayne didn't even crack a smile she just sat there and played with her fingers.
"Rayne it's that bad?" I asked her and she nodded her head. "When the last time y'all spoke to each other?"
"Three weeks ago."
"Three weeks ago?!" Faye and I both yelled out.
"Question. If y'all not on speaking terms why are you still here?" Faye asked.
"He doesn't want me to leave or be alone really."
"Bitch what? He ain't even here all you have is Scooby and Scrappy Doo in the back to keep you company. How the hell he doesn't want you to be alone? Y'all got ghosts up in this bitch?"
