Authours note: So I felt like there wasn't enough Gender-swap Destielle High School AU, So I decided to make one! I currently have 1/2 of the 2nd chapter done, so I'll probably be publishing it sometime next week. Sorry for the wait!~Tory Knight
"Castielle?" Ms. Riley asked. I looked up from the book I was reading under my desk, "please put your book away."
Sighing, I slipped my book mark into my book and looked up to the front of the class room. There was a girl I had never seen before standing next to Ms. Riley, "Okay class now that I've got you're full attention, let me introduce you to your new class mate-"
The new kid was good looking, I could see that, she must be better looking than I thought; I could practically see all the guys checking her out when she leaned nonchalantly up against the teacher's desk. Ugh, great just another spectacular looking diva I'd have to put up with. I almost snorted out loud, spectacular looking. As if I cared. Ever since 7th grade I considered myself to be, well, gay. Never experienced attraction to anyone of any gender that's not completelyamd utterly female like myself.
"Deanna Winchester, she just moved here from..."
"Kansas," She finished for Mrs. Riley.
The teacher nodded, "You can choose your seat Mr. Winchester."
There were three empty desks in the class, and I just happened to be sitting next to one of them. The Winchester girl walked, no sauntered was a better word, in my direction. Jesse she already acted like she owned the place, but the funny thing is she probably was going to. I thought she was going to sit in the desk in front of me next to the ever so handsome Kyle, but she passed him and plopped down next to me. I pulled out my book trying to avoid any unnecessary conversation with the girl who would probably end up a distant enemy but the bookmark slipped out. I leafed through the pages trying to find my spot.
"Hey can I borrow a pencil?" she hissed.
"Sure," I sighed and slipped my hand into my book bag and pulled one out, "Keep it, so you don't need one tomorrow."
"Thanks," She grinned, snatching my book, "Supernatural, By Carver Edlund..." She laughed quietly, "I've never seen another girl read these before. Awesome, huh?"
"They're good," Curious, I didn't really know anyone who liked the graphic novels. Or graphic novels I'm general if I was being honest with myself.
"Yeah, my uncle actually wrote them, I'm Deanna, Deanna Winchester," She tugged on her leather jacket; I think she meant it to be impressive.
"Okay..." I said absentmindedly, "Must be interesting. Are there going to be any more books?"
The books had ended a year ago with one of the main characters in the book, Dean, who I now realize was named after the girl sitting next to me, literally going to hell.
"Chuck," 'Chuck' must be Carver Edluns real name, everybody knew he was a ghost writer, "has been having writers block. He also got a new job after the publishing company went down and hasn't had any time to write for a while."
"Oh that sucks-" The bell rung, math class started and we didn't get a chance to talk for the rest of class. But I began to think that this Deanna girl and I might tolerate each other.
Ironically she was in three of my other classes, Honers English, and Biology and IOF. She sat next to me in Bii and IOF, and honestly she started getting annoying, and upping her game as a jerk, when she ripped my book from me this morning she seemed to just be getting started. When girls tried to talk to her in the hall, she just brushed past them without a single glance, and it almost seemed as if she was trying to impress me, but the thought was stupid. I think I almost cared, but I haven't had a crush in a long time, why start now on the new girl, so I ignored her for the rest of the day.
