Lexie was on her way to meet the rest of her band at the studio to finish up there album Sound of Silence. Lexie was very impressed on how this album was coming a long all of the songs were written by them. She was sure that there fans would love to see this new side of them. Lexie was lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice that someone else has arrived in the elevator "Hey Lexie where you of to?" Lexie instantly recognized the husky voice of Lauren. "Hey Lauren I'm just headed to the studio."

Lauren nodded her head. Lexie was hopping that this was the end of there conversation because she was pretty sure if she kept talking she was going to say something that would embarrass her but she was wrong. "How is the album coming along?" Lexie knew she couldn't be rude and ignore Lauren actually Lexie knew she couldn't ignore Lauren in general. "It's almost done and I'm sure our fans are going to love it." Lauren was glad that she caught Lexie before she left she didn't have much of a chance to talk to her at dinner. "do you guys write your own music?" Lexie was surprised by all the questions that Lauren was asking. "Yes we do."

Lauren heard about Lexie's band from some of the harmonizers and she listened to some of their songs and they were very good. Lauren's personal favorite is "Don't You Cry For Me." An awkward silence settled over them. Lexie was avoiding all eye contact with Lauren. Lexie had her eyes trained on the far left top corner of the elevator, she then noticed that the lights started to flicker then the elevator came to a jerking halt. It threw Lauren into Lexie who caught Lauren and leaned on the wall for support. "Well I think we might be late to our plans today." Lexie said with a cheeky grin. Lauren groaned she did not need to be stuck in an elevator. "This is the last thing I need."

Lexie let go of Lauren and walked to the other side of the elevator and sat down. The tone in Lauren's made it sound like she didn't want to be stuck in an elevator with her but Lexie couldn't blame her she's seen the crowd Lauren hangs out with and she was nothing like them. Lauren walked over to Lexie so that she was standing over her "Hey Lex why so quite all of the sudden?"  Lexie wasn't sure if she even wanted to talk to Lauren her mind was telling her to shut Lauren out but her heart was telling her a whole other story. "Just thinking is all." Lexie thought she sounded pretty believable she was hoping Lauren thought so to.

Lauren knew there was something wrong but she didn't really know Lexie and she didn't want to push her. "What are you thinking about?" Lauren was hoping she'd get an honest answer but she wasn't surprised when she didn't "How our manager is going to kick my ass for being late." Lauren giggled at Lexie's statement and Lexie was sure she's never heard such a beautiful sound before. Lexie didn't notice that she was starring at Lauren but Lauren noticed and the way Lexie was looking at her she's never seen anybody look at her the way Lexie was right now.

Lauren coughed and it snapped Lexie out of her daze. Lexie blushed she felt like an idiot for starring at Lauren like a love sick puppy. "Lexie we should hang out sometime I'd really like to get to know you." Lexie instantly perked up she would be an idiot if she told Lauren she didn't want to hang out with Lauren. "I'd love to hang out with you." Lexie knew she said that with a little to much enthusiasm but she honestly didn't care. "Well give me your number and I'll text you when I'm free." Lexie quickly got her phone out of her pocket and handed it to Lauren so she could put her number in it. Lauren handed Lexie her phone, Lexie quickly typed her number into it.

The Elevator hummed to life and took them both to the lobby. Lexie was a little upset that she had to leave  but she felt like she has taken a step in a relationship with Lauren. Lexie just needed to come up with a plan to get Lauren to fall head over heals in love with her. Lauren waved goodbye Lexie waved back. She knew exactly who she needed to talk to come up with the best plan to make Lauren fall in love with her. She needed Caitlyn.
