James's POV
Lola bat her eyelashes so I ignored her and walked strait past. As I neared my class I saw the new girl...she had blue eyes, dark brown hair cut into a bob and had huge glasses. She looked upset so I smiled at her to be friendly and she just stood there, like a dear stuck in headlights, so I walked into class. Mrs. Ker called the roll in her boring tone dead voice. As I slouched in my seat I saw the "geek" staring at me out of the corner of her eye
"Olivia?"
"Present"
"Jarod?"
"Here"
"James..."
"Yo"
I chuckled at my stupid joke and so did half the class...I turned to Victoria (I learnt her name from Mrs Ker) and I gave her a wink, she turned bright red.
As class ended we all stood up to leave for our next class and Lola tripped Victoria and she fell... as she fell I rushed over and caught her just before she hit the back of her head on the corner of the back bench.
I lent over her and said quietly:
"Did you have a nice trip...try not to fall next time...Vicki..."
She gave me a weak smile and I stood her up and walked off...
