Part 3: To New York

Nobody's POV- 5 am

The kids heard their mom's call for them. They all groaned and realized today they leave for New York. They all rushed to take showers. The Timmions Siblings ran to two separate bathrooms. Chanel used their mom's shower while Jessica used the other shower. They all threw on jeans and sweaters because they were lazy and it was going to be chilly in the morning in New York. Jessica grabbed the color tags she made. Jessica would have baby blue, Benny would have blue, Smalls would have green, Ham would have red, Timmy would have orange, Tommy would have yellow, Squints would have white, DeNunez would have grey, Yeah-Yeah would have brown, and Bertram would have black. Jessica also had some for the cheetah girls and the moms. Jessica ran downstairs and heard a knock on her door. It was Smalls and his family, DeNunez and his family, and Ham and his family. They all waited outside while Chanel and Mama Gomez came outside. Mama Gomez,"Well who owns a van." Mama Rodriguez,"I do. I'll take some of the kids." Mama DeNunez,"I do. I'll take the other kids." Mama McClennan,"I'll take Mama Gomez and Chanel and the baseball equipment to the airport." Everyone nodded. Cassandra was in the front seat of the Rodriguez van. Then it went Jessica, Benny, Yeah-Yeah, Smalls, and Ham. Mama DeNunez and Vanessa DeNunez had the two front seats of the DeNunez Van. Then it went Kenny, Tommy, Timmy, Squints, and Bertram. Mama McClennan had Mama Gomez, and Chanel with the luggage in the McClennan van.

Jessica's POV- Rodriguez Van

I was sitting in between Yeah-Yeah and Benny. We were talking to Smalls and Ham who had the side seats. We were in a conversation about something silly the boys did before I came into town. We arrived at the airport. We all got out. I went to grab 2 of the wheel carts. I,"Okay one is going to be kids and the other is the Mama's and Cha." Everyone nodded. We all grabbed what was ours. Benny grabbed mine and his Baseball equipment. I wheeled the cart for the kids while Mama DeNunez rolled the other. Vanessa,"Bye Mom. Bye Kenny." Cassandra,"Bye Mom. Bye Benny." Mama McClennan," Alan McClennan you better behave for Mama Rodriguez, Mama DeNunez, and Mama Gomez if you don't I'm taking away your baseball privileges. Goodbye my son. I love you." Yeah-Yeah," Bye Mom. I'll behave and I love you to." We made our way to security. I saw walking with Benny, Yeah-Yeah with Squints, Ham with Smalls, DeNunez with Bertram, and Timmy with Tommy. Chanel was on her phone. We only had our duffle bags and our backpacks. Our duffle bags would go above our seats. I,"Mom who's going on a breakfast run?" Mom,"Mama DeNunez and myself. Mama Rodriguez will be right here." I nodded. We were all sitting in a circle talking about what we would do in Barcelona. I,"Well I have a dinner the night after with Chanel, my mom, and Luke but I guess we could go sight seeing and obviously play baseball." I was getting tired but I leaned my head against Benny's shoulder and fell asleep.

Benny's POV- Airport

She was asleep. Squints,"So you have plans for her?" I,"Defiantly. I'm going to take her out for dinner and hopefully go to a street fair if we get a break from being ourselves." Smalls," Here's a blanket for her." I smiled and wrapped the blanket around her. We each packed a blanket in our duffle bags and I realized Smalls grabbed my blanket. I,"Smalls you grabbed my blanket." Smalls,"Your duffle bag is right by me." Yeah-Yeah,"Yeah-Yeah Benny." I smiled. I woke Jessica up while her mom handed us drinks and food. Jessica got a monster. I,"You drink that?" Jessica,"Yeah if we are flying I have one to keep me awake." I saw her going through her duffle bag. She had a video camera. She turned it on. Jessica had it facing her. I held the camera. Jessica,"Hi. Welcome to the documentary Barcelona with the Sandlot Gang. We are culturally in the airport and we're going to meet the boys. I'm Jessica Gomez. I'm 13. I play baseball and my position is 3rd Base and batter." I handed Jessica the camera as she turned to Ham who was on her left side. Ham,"I'm Ham Porter. I'm 12. I play baseball and my position is catcher and batter." She moved to Squints. Squints,"I'm Squints. I'm 12. I play baseball and my position is 1st Base and batter." Then Timmy and Tommy. Timmy,"I'm Timmy Timmons. I'm 12. I play baseball and my position is outfielder and batter." Tommy,"I'm Tommy Timmons. I'm 11. I play baseball and my position is outfielder and batter." DeNunez was next. DeNunez," I'm Kenny DeNunez. I'm 13. I play baseball and my position is pitcher and batter." Bertram was next. Bertram,"I'm Bertram Weeks. I'm 13. I play baseball and my position is 2nd Base and batter." It went Smalls then Yeah-Yeah then me. Smalls,"I'm Scotty Smalls. I'm 11. I play baseball and my position is outfield and batter." Yeah-Yeah," I'm Yeah-Yeah McClennan. I'm 13. I play baseball and my position is shortstop and batter." It was my turn. I,"I'm Benny Rodriguez. I'm 14. I play baseball and my position is 3rd Base and batter." I smiled as Jessica was narrating. Jessica," These 9 boys and 1 girl meet at the very ending of the school year now there going to New York and then going to Barcelona time for the rest of summer to come." We all started to laugh. Squints grabbed the camera. Squints,"And a summer that could change one friendship to a relationship or break the Sandlot apart. " We all smiled. Jessica's head ended up on my shoulder. Speaker," 9:00am to New York is now boarding." We all stood up and grabbed our things. The seats were Yeah-Yeah and Squints, Smalls and Ham, Tommy and DeNunez, Timmy and Bertram, Jessica and me, Mama Gomez and Chanel, and Mama DeNunez and my mom. We all sat down. Jessica wanted a blanket so I gave her mine. She smiled.
