Noah and I are sitting on the battered rocks of Brighton beach, our hands linked. He reaches out and caresses my face with his calloused fingers.
"You're my Forever Girl. Never forget that." He whispers.
"I love you Noah."
"I have been thinking about how this tour is breaking us apart. I've told the Sketch's management that I can't complete the last leg of their tour. I don't want to lose you."
"Noah... I can't make you choose between me and your career."
"No. Shhh..." He puts a finger to my lips to silence me. " I only want you. Nothing else. Just you."
"Noah... I love you."
And then we lie there, staring at the sky, despite the fact that the clouds had gone to bed long ago, and the moon had replaced them.
