~~Bone's P.O.V~~~
The two skeleton's crept through the underbrush as they neared the town. Bright lights flared around it, warding off any mobs that may want to attack. Creeping closer they stayed in the shadows.
A snap came from Krink as he clumsily stepped on a stick. Bone whipped around, glaring at him. Holding up a finger he did his best to emphasize being quiet. Krink only glared back and continued stepping forward. Trying noticeably better at staying quiet.
Krink held out an arm as the steps of a guard passed by. Dashing forward they crossed through the ring of light and hid in the shadow of a small house. Peering around the corner Bone motioned for Krink to follow. This continued for about ten minutes before they came before a church. Peering in Bone saw the girl with a frail old priest.
Crouching back down he nodded to Krink and they crept towards the entrance.
~~Gold/Soul's P.O.V~~
The priest beckoned Sarah and Fred to leave. Both eyed the priest and then myself before grudgingly stepping out.
"Now that we are alone," He began,"Let me show you the tales of the land." With that he pulled the book he had been reading out and placed it on an enchanting table that I had failed to notice before, in the corner of the room.
A burst of white sparks erupted from the book before the world began to change. The floor became dirt and the walls of the church seemed to disappear. Looking up, the sky was stormy with streaks of red bursting through the clouds. Two balls of energy seemed to be colliding over and over. One a bright yellow, the other a deep red.
Turning next to me I notice the priest watching the scene with calm eyes. He turned to me and pointed out the brighter of the two. "That is Notch, your Uncle." He said calmly before pointing to the other deeper colored orb. "And that is Herobrine, you father." He said gravely. Watching the two collide again in an array of sparks and light.
"Why are they fighting?" I asked slightly stunned at the scene. The priest turned to me with a sorrow filled face, "They are fighting over you." He said.
I stepped back shocked, "What? What did I do? I've never even met them!"
The priest sighed, "The night you disappeared was a dark one. It seemed that one of Notch's guards had been near when Herobrine brought you to the surface for the first time. So out of fear that he would kill you he used a special sleeping dart that made Herobrine pass out. When he awoke you were gone and he went into a rage."
He paused as a louder crack hit the sky above. It seemed that the two flying orbs had grown more vicious than before. How that was possible I wasn't sure. Continuing on I strained to listen to the priest over the wind.
"And so he blamed Notch who until then hadn't known of your existence. Before the battle you see now began, Notch ordered the guard and his wife to take care of you, not trusting Herobrine either. And so Herobrine went mad, more so than he already is, and tried chasing after them but Notch blocked the way and after a lengthy battle Herobrine was again sent to the Nether." The priest finished just as the dark red orb crashed to the ground with Notch standing above. He held a bright sword in his hands which was pointed at the now visible Herobrine's face.
He looked like a monster. His eyes glowed with a retched hatred while the blade in his hand toppled away. The clothes he wore were blasted and burned, with scorch marks scattering around it. He spat at Notch who merely whipped it away.
Without a word a nether portal appeared behind Herobrine. "Leave, unless you want me to throw you through." Notch said in a cold tone.
Looking back at Herobrine I noticed a small trail of tears making their way down his face. "Why must you take her from me? WHY MUST YOU TAKE EVERYTHING FROM ME?!" He shouted in a cracked voice. Notch merely pushed the sword harder against his throat.
Steadily Herobrine stood up and began to turn when, in the blink of an eye, turned around and tried to tackle Notch to the ground but before he even got close a bright light was ejecting him through. An inhuman scream followed before being cut short when he entered the portal.
"I'm sorry brother but you can't be trusted." Notch sighed deeply before the portal disappeared and he began walking away. In the distance I could see the figures of a man and a woman. One had brown hair while the other had orange. It must have been Steve and Alex.
I turned away, walking slowly back to the priest who waited patiently, his eyes were a mix of sorrow and pity. As I reached him I fell to my knees. A sob broke my throat before I could speak. Next thing I knew I was back in the stone church with the priest standing above me.
"Do you understand child?" He asked offering a hand. Taking it I nod.
"Notch only did what he thought was right. But that gave him no right to take me from Herobrine, I mean my father." It felt weird addressing Herobrine in such a manner.
"He feared you would turn evil. Like Herobrine, and so left you with his guard giving them a potion that would keep any powers you may get at bay until it seemed a good time. But it seems they died an unfortunate and unlucky death before they could." The priest explained. I nodded trying to keep my eyes from overflowing again at the memory of my lost adoptive parents.
A sudden yell at out the window made me jump. It seemed that an iron golem had found two skeletons that had gotten extremely close to the church.
"You may stay the night if you wish." The priest offered. Nodding my thanks I followed him to a small hut that had barely enough room for one person. Thanking him once again I drifted to sleep only to be greeted by nightmares.
~~Notch's P.O.V~~
Notch watched the village from high above. 'Seems she took the news well' He thought drifting a few feet down.
Soon he drifted to the ground in front of the church. Opening the door slowly he was greeted by his old friend.
"Hello Priest." He said taking a step toward the old villager. He smiled back at the powerful, seemingly young, man.
"You do not need to use such terms with me, Notch. I am merely a crazy old man who should retire. Please, just call me Grale."
Notch nodded, a smile tugging his lips. "Id that's what you wish Grale." He said, "Now onto other matters. It seems she dealt with it better than we thought, yes?" Grale nodded at this statement.
"Yes, but what are we to do next? She is hunted by many at the time and she needs to learn how to use her powers before it gets out of hand." Grale said worriedly.
"I plan to take her back to the kingdom as soon as she is able. There I'll let my son help her. They are already worried enough about her. And so is a friend of hers." Notch said, "Do not worry Grale, I have everything sorted. Now go take a nap, you seem exhausted after that trick of yours." Notch chuckled walking out the door. Before Grale could answer he was gone.
