I was getting dressed because me and India were going to the movies to see The purge Election Year. I took a shower and put on my black jeans with a grey sweater with a sweater on top and my black and white vans. I decided to straighten my hair today after i was done I took some selfies and posted them on instagram. lastly I put on some Bath and body works lotion and perfume then was finally done.
I got my keys and iPhone 6s. I locked the doors to my house and got in my Lexus 2016 gs.
15 minutes later I pulled up to the movie theater and found India getting tickets for the movie.
India: hey girl
Jasmine: Heyyy
We talked and laughed then got some snacks then went to the theater 7 and went to the top row
Jasmine: girl u gon share those snacks?
India: nah
Jasmine: smh😒
India: girl I'm just playing here😂
She handed me some gummy bears then the movie was starting. And I was lowkey scared cuz the trailer looked scary af.
2 hours later
That movie was scary af I almost pissed on myself.
India: that movie was good
Jasmine: wtf that movie was scary af I'm never letting u pick what movie we seeing.
India: 😂
Jasmine: girl I'm hungry lets go eat
India: u ate a large pop corn and nachos and gummy bears with a large Sprite and you still hungry??
Jasmine: don't judge me but let's go to Applebee's
India: ok I'll meet you there
25 minutes later we pulled up to apple bees
We walked in and got seated.
The waitress gave us menus and I chose boneless wings and fries. India chose the same thing. We told the waitress what we wanted.
India: so girl did August call back to tell you if you got the job?
Jasmine: nope I'm starting to think I didn't get the job.
India: girl don't say that u just have to be patient.
Jasmine: i guess your right
India: I'm always right
Jasmine: shut up *laughs*
The waitress brought us our food I was glad because I was hungry af
Before I could even touch my food my phone rung.
I answered it without looking at the screen.
Jasmine: hello
?:yes is this jasmine brown?
Jasmine: yes this is her
?: this is August alsina calling to let you know that you got the job
When he said that I almost screamed.
Jasmine: omg thank you when do I start?
August: you can start tomorrow is that
Ok?
Jasmine: yes that's fine
August: ok good I'll see your tomorrow I'll text you the address and what time you can start.
Jasmine: ok thank you so much
August: your welcome ma see you tomorrow morning
I hung up the phone
Jasmine: guess what??!
India: yes and who was that??
Jasmine: it was August and he told me I got the job.
India: omg congratulations when u start
Jasmine: I start tomorrow
India: I'm so happy for you
Jasmine: Girl i'm kinda nervous for tmr what should I wear? how should I wear my hair omg I-
India: chill your gonna be fine just wear something casual and wear your hair the way you always do just calm down your be fine.
Jasmine: What would I do without u?
India: Girl Idk *laughs*
We talked more while eating then eventually decided it was time to leave. We said our goodbyes and left.
As soon as I got home I took my clothes off and took a shower, Then out on some leggings and a t shirt. I texted India and a few people then went to sleep.
