You wouldn't believe me if I told you my story, no one ever does. It trails back to when I was still a child, back when the world was at war, and children were forced to leave their families behind. The day soon came when I to had to leave. They said I would probably never see my family again. As I boarded the train to leave, all I could see were my parent's tears as they stood on the platform waving goodbye. Looking back at it now, there were so many things I could have said or done but no, I simply boarded the train without a second glance, something I will regret the rest of my life.
After a few days of traveling, the train finally stopped. I looked at the ticket I was handed when I boarded, it was strange because there was nothing written on it, it was simply a golden piece of paper. When I asked one of the other children if their ticket looked like mine they said no, so I just assumed I didn't get off at this stop. When the train started moving again I pulled out my headphones and a book.
A few hours later
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Um, miss" Looking up from my book I see a tall man with a uniform on.
"Yes?"
"May I see your ticket?"
"Sure, here" As I hand the short man in uniform my ticket he replies with "Miss I am terribly sorry but you will have to get off the train now" As soon as he said those words he pulled my luggage forcibly down from above me and started dragging me by the scruff of my jacket.
"R-right now? Couldn't I get off at the next stop I mean we are in the middle of nowhere and there's a blizzard raging out there. You would throw a child off the train!"
"I would hope it wouldn't come to actually throwing you off the train. Now come this way please."My eyes widened in horror as the man yanked the breaks on the train then practically dragged me along the halls towards one of the exits.
"The train will not stop completely, but you should have no trouble getting off."
"B-But!" I yelled in triumph as I was pushed out of the train door, my luggage came soon after, tumbling onto the ground. The train's whistle blew and it was soon at full speed again, leaving me on the frozen ground covered in snow, with little to eat or drink. All I had with me were a few coins, a change of clothes, and half a slice of bread: courtesy from my breakfast.
Ya know that feeling when you feel your world crumbles into pieces, ya well, try going through that feeling a thousand times repeatedly, then you'll know how I felt. I mean I lost my home, my ride, and my place to sleep, and I am stuck in a damn blizzard in the middle of nowhere! What could be worse! Oh and did I mention that there are wolf's howling in the distance. *Sigh* Getting up, I brush the snow off my close, grab my bag and start heading towards the forest, at least there, I might be able to find some sort of shelter from this blizzard or at least find a rock I can crouch next to. Either way, I am still probably gonna freeze to death or be eaten by something. "Great...."
As I trudge through the snow, the winds start picking up out of nowhere, knocking me over. My already half frozen limbs are now frozen and won't move as I lay there in the snow. The wind slashes at my already frozen face with its fierce gusts. My body shivers and shudders at the impact of the harsh winds. Soon, my concussions starts to slip away but right before I slipped away completely, I saw a blurred figure in the distance, then it all goes black.
