*^*^*^*Charlotte's POV*^*^*^*
I jerked awake by someone pounding on my door.
A note was slipped at the bottom of my bedroom door. I got out of bed and grabbed the note.
Charlotte, breakfast is ready
I opened the door. Rachel stood there, startled at first because she was leaning on my door but quickly recovered. Rachel is an Avox who works for us since I could remember. She was probably in her mid-thirties by now.
She nodded and headed to the dining room. I followed her.
Mom, Dad, Dylan and Ashton were already there. Ashton is my older brother, who is three years older than me and Dylan is my twelve-year-old brother.
"Good morning Charlotte." Mom greeted me.
"Good morning."
I sat in between Dylan and Ashton. We were having pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, hotdogs, and orange juice for breakfast.
"So can I hang out with my friends today? And, mom, dad if it's okay with you, can my friends come over later?" I asked my parents.
"Sure, dear." Mom replied.
Dad just nodded in agreement.
We didn't talk much, or mostly I didn't talk much. After breakfast I went up to my room to choose what to wear for today. I chose a plain white longsleeve top and a red skater skirt. I chose my black wedge boots with my brown leather bag. I also wore a necklace to go with my outfit. I curled my long blonde hair. I put some makeup up on. Mascara, black eyeliner, lipstick, concealer, gold and black eyeshadow. I looked at myself in the mirror. I had dull light gray eyes, a long nose, lips not too thin, not too thick. My hair was dip dyed in different colors. My height is average, also my shoe size. I had white as milk skin. Arg even in summer I can never get a tan. I went outside my bathroom.
Then all I had to do was wait for Luke and my other friends. We have a mix of 4 boys and 4 girls. For the girls (including me) Victoria, Natalie, and Cassie. And for the boys, Alex, Brandon, Will and Luke.
I laid in bed looking around my room. It was creamy pink and very, very modern. Well all of the houses here in Capitol are modern. My friends and I are gonna go shopping today. There was suddenly a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" I yelled.
By the time I got to the door, mom had opened it. Natalie was standing there, waiting for me.
"Hey Charlotte!" she said.
"Oh hey." I replied.
"Ready to go, dear?" Mom asked.
"Yeah."
"Alright then, have fun girls." Mom said.
"Bye Mrs. Crystal!" Natalie said.
"Bye mom." I said.
"Take care, dear." She replied.
I followed Natalie to her car. Victoria and Cassie were inside.
