'Robyn Weasley!', it was around 8:00am on the 1st of September And Mrs Weasleys voice could be heard hollering through the rickety house, waking up everyone bar Robyn who was still drooling away into her pillow. Her vivid red hair was spread all over her pillow making it seem like a glow torch in the night. However, it wasn't night and the Hogwarts train would be leaving in a matter of hours. Ron, her brother, was in the exact same comatose state as her. As was the rest of the world at this hour. 'Robyn, I swear mum is going to kill you if you don't wake up now!' Fred spoke softly into her ear, only to be met by a series of grunts and a bed sheet to the face. 'ROBYN' he repeated. He got no reply. Fred face palmed and sighed then yelled 'ROBYN!!!!' But this time much louder. The ginger mess woke up with a scream and slapped her brothers face in surprise. 'WHY-DID-YOU-WAKE-ME-UP!' She said in a matter-of-fact voice. Fred stared at her humorously while stroking his cheek and pointed towards the makeshift calendar on the wall. Robyn looked over in that general direction and screamed yet again, causing Fred to cringe and block his ears. Robyn leaped out of bed and rushed to pack her trunk while scolding Fred and George (who had now joined them in her room) for 'not waking her up early enough!'. They gave up trying to tell her that she was wrong when she threw an alarm clock (a muggle time telling contraption) straight at their foreheads. Both twins quickly left the attic room after that. Robyn raced round the room grabbing a pair of black jeans and an oversized jumper to wear until she changed into her robes on the train.
Clothes on and hair brushed she jumped down the oak staircase 3 at a time, eager to start her first year of Hogwarts along with her twin, Ronald. She would usually sit down with the rest of the Weasleys and eat but today Robyn decided to skip the meal entirely and instead prepared a letter to send to Charlie.
Dear Charlie,
Did you know that I'm going to Hogwarts today! Well I'm sure ya did seen that I'm your favourite and all. Anyways, I'm worried about the sorting and was wondering if you could tell me anything. I don't trust Fred or George after they mentioned something about a troll and Percy is way too stuck up and busy polishing his prefect badge to notice.
How's Romania! mum was saying that you brought in a new dragon last week! I demand a profile on this marvellous beast Charlie Weasley! Any advances on the Opal yet? Let me know soon
Love your favourite sister,
Robyn!
After checking the letter over twice and deciding that she had said everything she wanted to say, Robyn called Errol who landed-thankfully-on the windowsill. Robyn tied up the letter to the birds' scaly talons and Errol flew off, leaving behind a trail of feathers. 'Need to get a new bird!' Robyn murmured to herself while picking out bits of grey feathers from her hair.
Sighing, she rechecked her trunk;
-Three sets of plain work robes (black)
-One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
-One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide)
-One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)
Thankfully Robyn got all her own robes as she was the first female Weasley to attend hogwarts. Plus Molly insisted.
