After the awkward silence , I finally decided to say something
" so how old are you Mr. Devon " I spoke teasingly .

He chuckled " I'm 24 . what about you ? "

I took a sip of my Sprite and said " 21, about to be 22 in two weeks . But anyways what do you do ? Not to be rude but you have alot of money to be 24 . "

He did this sexy grin " I'll let you know later "

Before I could even get another word out the cashier called out my order number . We both got up . As I went to get to my food he was waiting at the door for me holding it . He was a real gentleman but I don't know . he couldn't even tell me what he does .

We both hopped in his car and he began to drive off .

" you can go back to that street where my car broke down . That's the street I stay on . " I softly spoke

He looked at me through the corner of his eye .

" its no rush ma . I need to pick up something from my house anyways " he said smirking .

We rode in a comfortable silence to his house

His house was big . actually it was way to big for it to just be him staying there . But it was beautiful .

He sat on the couch in his living room . I was still observing my surroundings then saw him and I was looking confused . " uh I thought you were supposed to be getting something " I said in confusion .

" I really don't need anything I just wanted to bring you here and chill . I'm pretty sure you was gonna say no and I wanna get to know you better ma . sorry if I caused any inconvenience . " he said smirking while grabbing his remote from the other couch .

" look I don't know you like that and I'm pretty sure you a nice guy or whatever but I'm pretty sure I have better things to do than just chill . "

He looked at me and smiled and turned his attention back to the TV .

I rolled my eyes and put my hand on my hips " please ? I really want my bed right now '

" girl come sit down and talk to me " he said demanding , yet sexy .

I sat way on the opposite side of his couch . He scooted closer to me making me roll my eyes yet getting comfortable.

" alright ma . I'm gonna cut the bs . you real pretty and I wanna know if I can take you out and yunno see where this goes . "

I smirked " I'm gay but thanks " I said totally lying .

He smiled at me saying " even better "

I chuckled while rolling my eyes . I pulled my phone out the back pocket of my jeans to check the time which read 3:57 .

I sighed " what time "

" around 8 ? He said with a slight smile .

You can tell he had a good personality. I wouldn't mind going out on a date because that's probably what I need right about now. But knowing how things went with the last boy I talked to I was skeptical about it .

" sure , but you have to have me back around 11:30 " I spoke

" sounds good ma " he spoke

He focused his attention back to the TV and I looked at him

" so you must not wanna go on this date cause its four and I'm going to need to get dressed sir " I said

He laughed and sat up from the couch . He held his hand out trying to assist me on getting up as well and I accepted .

About thirty minutes I was in my house and decided that I need to call my best friend . I know she will answer although she's still at work . the phone rung about five times and she picked up .

" Hello ? " Shai spoke

" Hey bestie you still at work ? " I said clingly like .

"Yeah .. Um .. I'll talk to you later " then she quickly hung up .

That was awkward because it was never a dull moment when we spoke with each other but oh well. I had a date to get ready for.

My phone flashed notifying me that it was a text from Devon

" Hey I'll be there around 7:30 "

I replied saying okay and began to look I'm my closet for something to wear .
