Chapter 2

- Chapter 2 -

"Are we seriously gonna talk about him?" 

"Sure, why not!" Thalia answered.

"Fine" I rolled my eyes and sighed.

We were talking about boys for like 30 minutes already. Actually, it's just Angel and Thalia I'm just listening to them. While they were chatting I was wondering what will happen at the first day of school, I bet it's just the same.. You know, school just being school like the usual. Same crap, same old people, popular girls and boys, nerds and also new students. I just don't want summer to end yet.

"Sarah! Hello? Earth to Sarah!" Angel snapped her fingers in front of me. I went back to reality.

"Uh... Um, yeah?" 

"What are you thinking about?" Angel asked. I guess I'm having my own world again like the usual, I do that whenever I'm not enjoying the topic but I still try to listen and be interested because I don't want to be rude to the person who's talking, I don't want to be treated like that so I won't do that but I just really don't like the topic right now so I didn't listen at all. "It's not that important" I stated.

"Come on! Just tell us!" She begged.

"I was just thinking about school," I said.

"EW NO!" Thalia and Angel said in unison. Yeah, we just hate school so much.

"I know.. I told you it's not that important." I stood up and lay at Angel's bed, staring at the ceiling.

"When you mentioned school I start to think of it, what will happen?" Thalia wondered.

"Crappy stuff like before," I said as I close my eyes and thought of school. I'm not yet ready.

"I agree with you!" Angel agreed.

"Guys! I'll sleep for awhile if it's okay with you two." I said, my eyes still closed.

"Yeah sure. We'll just watch tv or something." Thalia said.

*alarm clock rings*

"Wha-Ah.. WHAT?!" I quickly sat up my eyes wide opened. I heard someone giggling at my side.

"Good morning!" Thalia and Angel greeted, smiling. What are they up to now? I just hate it when someone wakes me up. 

"Why is the alarm set at..." I stopped and looked at the ciock. "7:00 AM?!" I continued, questioning the two of them who obviously did it. I bet they're messing with me again.

"We just want you to wake up early because you were asleep since yesterday afternoon." Thalia explained. That's not a good reason to wake someone up. "Are you serious?!" I looked at them pissed, like who does that?! Well, there's them. I hate it when someone does that to me. That's the reason why I also hate school you have to wake up early, like excuse me I'm sleeping here now stop bothering me school. Go away!

"What?" Angel giggled.

"She forgot," Thalia whispered to Angel. She shouldn't have whispered, I heard it anyway.

"Forget what?" I asked. What are they talking about? 

"See! I told you she'll forget." Thalia sighed.

"We're going to the park today" Angel explained. "We're gonna walk our way there." Thalia added.

"Ohh.. I remember now!" I stoop up, fixed my hair and clothes. "Okay I'm done! Let's go!" I walked out of the room and went downstairs, they both followed.

"You're so fast" Thalia said. 

"I know." I smiled. "Come on!"

We all went outside and walked our way to the park. I was wearing shorts and a sweater that's why I feel a little bit chilly., I should've worn jeans but who cares.

The three of us were walking for 5 minutes already and no words were spoken, it's so quiet. I remember when we were kids and we go to the park everyday to play together and just have fun... Memories. I miss it so much. I just can't believe we're already in high school and all grown up. Wow! Time flies so fast. I'm so happy that we get to hang out together at the park again like the old times. 

I stopped walking and took a deep breath when I finally saw the park. Nothing actually changed, still the same old park when we we're little. I really miss this place a lot.

I sat down at the bench smiling and appreciating the park. Angel ran towards her favorite swing were she usually plays when we were kids and Thalia sat down next to me.

"I really miss hanging out here with you and Angel." Thalia said, I nodded and sighed. 

I looked at the swing were Angel was sitting and memories started flashing back into me. Our friendship all started here that's why I love this park so much. I was staring for a long time already and I didn't notice that I was staring at someone. When I notice that I was staring at a guy I quickly looked away.

"Who are you looking at?" Thalia asked.

"No one." I answered.

"Then why is that guy going towards our direction?" She pointed. Oh gosh! I didn't mean to stare at him he was standing next to the swing it's his fault. He might think I'm checking him out. That would never happen though.

"Hey!" A guy with a curly brown hair and green eyes said. 

"Hi!" Thalia greeted back. "Aren't you gonna greet him too?"

I rolled my eyes and greeted him with a simple 'Hi'. He smiled at me showing his dimples, damn this boy is attractive... Wait! What am I saying?! Snap out of it Sarah! You do not find this boy attractive, he's not! I would never like him and he's kinda annoying even though he's not doing anything, a guy's presence just annoys me that's all. I just don't like him.

"Um, My name's Harry and you are?" He introduced himself. We didn't even ask him to introduce himself to us I'm not that interested in knowing who he is anyway.

"I'm Thalia and my friend over here is Sarah." Thalia introduced. "And the one on the swing is Angel." She added.

"Nice to meet you Thalia and Sarah" He smiled.

"Are you gonna say anything?" Thalia looked at me waiting for a reply.

"Nice to meet you too Harry.... It's Harry, right?" 

"Yeah!" 

"Okay then.." I said "Is that okay Thal?" I looked back at her and smiled. She looks kinda irritated by my attitude and I know it. I'm actually doing it on purpose because I don't like Harry and I want him to go away. I actually have no idea why I'm so cold-hearted to him but I'm always like that to guys especially when I'm feeling like I'm starting to like the person already. I'm not saying that I like him already but... I don't know, I just met him.
