At Kingsman high school, a new student arrived on a Tuesday morning. His face lifeless and his eyes were full of sadness. His name was Zach. A girl named lily was usually smiling as wide as she could, he walked into class to notice a boy in a black hoodie and dark grey jeans. She sat next to him and smiled. He looked over for a second. Then looked back down at his desk.
"Hello new kid I'm Lily!" He ignored her cheerful spirit. This made her uncomfortable. "Where did you come from?" He ignored her.
The next day was the same but lily took a paper and drew a poorly drawn cat with a smiley face with a tongue sticking out of its mouth on the paper. Zach picked up the paper then put it back onto her desk.
The next day she tapped his seat until he looked over at her. She made a pig nose and made a weird face as an attempt to make him smile. He looked at her then back at his desk.
Before Zach had transferred over to this new school his mother, father, and little brother had died in an accident. The car was rammed into by a speeding semi truck. The top of the car was almost completely shredded off.
Thursday sack sat in the same spot and lily sat next to him again, but today zachs hoodie was pulled over his head. Lily pulled out a piece of paper and wrote: "At least write to me" he shoved the note back without showing his face.
Friday lily was at her limit. She wanted to talk to him, she wanted to see him smile. Throughout the whole day she danced like an idiot when he was looking up. She acted as funny as she could but nothing made Zach smile.
On the way out of school lily tripped on a rock and fell. She was so frustrated she started to cry. All her books that she held were spread out on the cement. She say an arm start to pick up her books. She looked up to see Zach. He looked at her face in tears with his eyes wide open.
He smiled wide and Lily's tears stopped. She smiled wider then she had been before and she started to laugh in happiness as she hugged Zach. Zach didn't know how to react so with a smile tears flowed down his cheeks.
