Unforgotten Love

Chapter 1: Welcome Home, See You Again, Capital Grille & Jake's Room

*Harmony P.O.V*

Today was the day that Jake was coming back home from his one year tour of Europe and Asia. Jake and I haven't seen or talk to each other since graduation. He went off to pursue his dream of becoming a singer and I went off to college in becoming a nurse. 

I was laying in my bed next to Kevin, my boyfriend. We met each other in a weird way. It was one of his friend that first came up to me, telling me that Kevin was checking me out. We got along so well in class and out of class. We spend lots of time together at each other houses, working on homework, but we find the time to hang out with each other, away from homework. We been dating for a year and a half now, and I am happy. 

I was laying there, thinking about seeing Jake again. Now that it's summer, he wanted to go home so he can catch up with family and friends. Jake and I was still best friends, and nothing will break that, even though I use to have the biggest crush on him in high school, but I couldn't say anything to him about it because I don't want to ruined our friendship if he don't feel the same. My family and Jake's family are still close with each other. 

We were all heading to the airport in about 3 hours. My parent told me that Jake's plane was landing at 5 and the drive was about 40 minutes to an hour long with traffic. After we pick up Jake, we are going out to eat afterward, so we have to dress nice. The airport was Miami International Airport and it will be quite busy.

I look at the time and it was 11 on a Friday and I was still in bed. I was thinking about how we will finally get to see each other after 3 years apart. I don't know how much he change but I imagine him being a different person when he was younger. 

Kevin started to move and I felt him wrapping his arm around my stomach and pull closer to him. He then kiss on the cheek and I smile. I turn my head and he open his eyes. 

"Good morning" he smile

"Good morning" I smile

"What time is it?" he ask

"11:10" I said

"Wow, we slept in" he said

"I always sleep in" I laugh

"Isn't today your friend Jake coming back home from tour?" he said

"Yea" I said

I told him about Jake but Kevin never meet Jake until today. Then there was a knock at the door. 

"Come in" I said

The door open and it was my mom.

"Oh good, you guys are up" she said

"Morning mom" I said

"Morning Harmony" she said then look at Kevin. "Morning Kevin"

"Morning Mrs. Anderson" Kevin said

"When you are ready, breakfast is ready for the two of you" my mom said

"Thanks mom" I said

She smile and close the door. I sat up and look at Kevin, he was shirtless and I love his abs. I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stood up. 

"Aww, come back to bed" he said

"I would love too, but we have to get up" I said walking to the bathroom. 

I grab my toothbrush and put on some toothpaste and being to brush my teeth. I left the door open and continue to brush my teeth. Minutes later, Kevin came walking and grab his toothbrush and put on some toothpaste and being to brush his teeth. 

When we were done, I did my morning face routine and Kevin walk back out to the room. I put on my morning product and when that was done, I head back into the room. Kevin grab his shirt and put it on.
