Unforgotten Love

Chapter 4: Seaquarium, Photo-taking, Bonfire, Night-time Volleyball

*Jake P.O.V*

I woke up the next morning to sound coming from downstairs. I search for my phone, somewhere on the bed. I look at the time and it was 9:30. I wonder who was up at this hour. I sat up, swing my leg over the side of the bed and got up. I walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

When I was done, I open the door and walk out. As I was walking, I saw that every door was close, so I don't know who was downstairs. I walk down the stairs and into the living room. I walk into the kitchen to see Harmony cooking breakfast.

I stood there for a bit, just watching her and thinking. I didn't think she was a morning person. I remember when we would go on vacation together, she always sleep in till noon. We have to forced her out of bed to enjoyed the place we were staying at. And when we would go back, she went straight to the bedroom to take a nap. I was brought back when Harmony was waving a specula in my face.

"What?" I said

"I said you scared the crap out of me" she said

"Oh sorry" I said

"So why are you up so early?" she ask

"I should be asking you the same question" I said

"I always get up early" she said

"Not when we were younger" I said

"I know, but now that I am a nurse, I have to get up early, so I guess I'm use to it by now" she said

"I see" I said, walking over and sitting down at the island "Don't sit there, help" she said

"Okay" I laugh

I got up and walk over to her. She hand the specula to me. I stir the eggs around. Harmony was taking the toast out of the toaster and place them on the plates. She continue to cook the pancakes. We were standing side by side, cooking. The eggs were finally done. I place them on the plate and she hand me the sausages. I cut open it and place them on the pan. There was a pan for bacons as well. I took that pan off and place them on a plate as well.

We continue to make breakfast. I look at the time and it was 10:20.

"What smell so good?" someone said

We both turn around to see everyone walking in. Kevin walk straight to Harmony and gave her a quick kiss on the lip.

"Can someone bring all of the plates to the table?" Harmony said

Everyone being to grab plates and bringing them to the tables. Harmony and I was finishing off the last pancakes and sausages. We place them on the plates and Harmony bring the pancakes plates while I grab the sausages plates. We walk to the table and place them down. Harmony walk back to the kitchen to grab some glasses and a pitcher of orange juice. I walk in to help her. I grab the glasses from her.

"Thanks" she smile

"My pleasure" I smile

We walk back to the table. I look at the table and it was full of food. There was bowls of fruits, maple syrup, jelly, jam, butter. Plates of pancakes, sausages, toasts, eggs, bagels, bacons, etc. There was also orange juice, milk, coffee, creamer, sugar.

It was like a Thanksgiving feast. Everyone sat down. Harmony was sitting at the head of the table. Kevin sat on the right side of her, and I was on the left side of her.

"Well everyone, dig in" Harmony said

Everyone being to grab food from the plates. Everyone was eating and by the look on their faces, it was good.

"So Harmony, what's the plan for today?" Mason ask

"Well, I was thinking we could go to the Miami Seaquarium, then have a bonfire at the beach while we have a little night-time volleyball game" Harmony said
