It had been no more than 11 hours since Baelfire had left when I heard the knocking at the window. Michael was still wiping away tears from the encounter and I couldn't blame him. It had been his fault that Bae had left for Neverland.

"Wendy?" John asked, his voice growing higher. "John, get Michael and yourself hidden. Now!" I shouted, jumping out of my bed and running to the window. Tonight, Nana was outside. Mother had decided it was best in case Bae had changed his mind and had come home.

We told her Bae had left in the middle of the night. We couldn't have told her the horrible tale of Bae being swept off into the night by a mischievous shadow belonging to a boy without a heart, nor soul.

"Wendy?" John squeaked once more. "Enough John. I am getting Bae back. You shalln't come with me. You shall stay and watch over Michael and Mother. Do you understand?" I stated with a hint of bitterness. Bae was my friend. I had found him and taken him in. I had been the one to let him go, so logically I should be the one to get him. John nodded, grabbed Michael by the hand and hid in the cubby hole.

I carefully opened the window and the shadow flew in, looking quite puzzled.

"Just me. You broke your word to Bae. So now, we need a new deal" I shouted up at the intimidating darkness. It nodded back at me. "You take me to Neverland and you will not bother my brothers! You will let them get on with their lives! You will never bother the Darlings again! Do you understand?!" I shivered, the wind blowing into the room.

The shadow nodded once more but I knew better. "I haven't finished. You promised Bae this before but alas, here you are. So I need you to swear on something" I whispered, the breeze blowing my hair wildly.

The shadow looked un easy but intreaged.

"Swear on Pan's life. If you ever even touch my brothers. I get to kill Pan!" I growled.

The shadow retreated against a wall.

It took a few seconds before shaking my hand.

"Goodbye John! Goodbye Michael!"I shouted, waving a farewell. At least for now.

"Hello Bae" I muttered as well took off into the sky.

It wasn't the most pleasant ride of my life. I dangled over buildings and was nearly dropped by the ghastly shadow. It was a whole lot worse than my first time anyway.

It felt like days before we reached a large body of water, I quickly felt through my pockets and found a small box of matches. I carefully lit one, making sure the shadow noticed it.

I grinned up at the shadow "Drop me down here please? If not I can just light you on fire anyway but don't say I didn't give you a choice". The shadow shrugged and we kept on flying.

"I didn't want to be mean but if you insist!" I smirked as I lit the shadow. It squirmed and shrieked before dropping me into the ocean. I braced myself for the impact, bending my knees as I tumbled through the air, creating a large splash.

"Lovely to see you again!" I screamed sarcastically at the shadow as it darted away quickly.

I treaded water for a few minutes before my limbs grew tired. "Brilliant... Now what?!" I thought to myself. I obviously needed to get to the island and find Bae but that right now was impossible.

I could make out a small piece of land which I recognized as Neverland but there was no way I'd be able to make it to the island, by swimming. I'd die before that would happen.

So doing what any sensible lady would do in this situation, I laid on my back and just floated.

It could have been minutes, it could have been days but exactly the man I wanted showed up,

"D'ya need a hand their miss?" a voice called out. "Thank god for Killian Jones!" I smiled as I rolled off my back.

"Long time no see Miss Darling" Hook grinned, taking of his hat and throwing down the ladder.

"It's been a week Hook" I laughed as I climbed aboard.

"It's been a very lonely week, Miss Darling. So what brings you back to this neck of the woods?" Killian asked, pulling me onto the deck. "I'm looking for someone. A friend" I swallowed. It was hard to think about Bae. I couldn't even be sure if he was still alive.

Killian's face turned dark. "The shadow?" he asked. I nodded. "You're not going alone" he whispered. "Killian as much as I appreciate the concern, this is a journey I have to make on my own" I replied.

"At least let us give you a hand then, a warm meal, dry clothes,  a sword?" he suggested. I hugged him "Thanks Killian".

"It's okay kid, the least I could do for a former crew member. Just stay safe" he whispered, squeezing me tight. "Somebody get Miss Darling some food! She's got to be starving!" he shouted jumping into action. "Smee! Wendy's going to need her coat! And go to the armery and get her a sword!" he grinned. He turned to me and smirked "I hope you're still as good as you were the last time I saw you!".

I sighed "It's been a week Killian!".

"What ever, I still hope you're good".

After some food and some dueling with Hook, it was time to enter Neverland.

"Are you sure you want to go? The offer to stay with my crew full time, it still stands!" Killian pleaded.

"I'll be fine"

"Well be safe kid" he said, patting me on the back as I climbed down the ladder.

"Will do Hook, will do".

I was about 10 minutes into the forest when I felt a bottle crash against the back of my head.

"Oh! Oh! Now I'm just disappointed! I'd expected far better from the famous Wendy Darling!" a malicious voice taunted before I fell into the darkness.
