"W-What happened to him?" I stammered. It was silence and I knew that the guys were looking to each other for answers on what to say to me.

"Uhm... Well 3 days after you disappeared he decided he couldn't take the grief of you being gone, so he... He... He tried killing himself." Jinxx spoke calmly, stooping down and placing a shaky hand on my shoulder.

"T-Tried?" I spoke, stammering again.

"Yeah... Tried. Jake busted down the door and we got him down... He's in a coma for 7 months though." At his words, I froze. 7 months. 7 months I wouldn't get to talk to my father. 7 mothns I couldn't hug him. 7 months I couldn't apologize... 7 months I would be without a parent. I didn't realize I'd been hyperventilating until Jinxx was hugging me tightly and rocking me back and forth gently, trying to calm me. My vision was blurred and it was becoming harder and harder for me to breathe.

"Ember, calm down sweetie. He's fine, he'll come out of it. Take deep breaths." Jinxx said soothingly in my ear. I could feel his own body shaking... It wasn't helping me and my body tensed as I spoke.

"I can't breathe... I can't breathe." I said, then I could feel my body go limp shortly after as I closed my eyes.

"Ember, come on. Stay awake. Don't do this! Ember, listen to me. Open your eyes. Ember-" And that was the last I heard before the blackness came to claim me.

*Jinxx's P.O.V.*

After I had told Ember the news of her beloved father and bandmate being in a coma for 7 months, her breathing hitched and I soon realized that she was hyperventilating. My first reaction was to hug her, rocking her gently back and forth in hopes I could calm her down.

"Ember, calm down sweetie. He's fine. he'll come out of it. Take deep breaths." I said as soothingly as I could, when, in all reality. I myself was freaking out. I held her shivering body close to mine- which I believe was also shaking- And looked down. Her head was buried in my chest. I took a deep breath and held her in front of me. Her pupils were dilated, taking up 95-98% of her beautiful green eyes. I looked her right in the eyes, but she didn't seem to see me. All I could see... Was death.

"I can't breathe... I can't breathe." Ember said. I pulled her close and hugged her again and I knew now that I was shaking.

And then her small, frail body... Went limp. I immediately started to panic. What if she had just died right here in my arms.

"Jinxx... What happened to Ember???" CC asked, sounding as innocent as a 2 or 3 year old.

"I-I don't know." I admitted. I shifted her lifeless body. Her face was now looking up at me, pale and tear-stained.

"Ember, come on. Stay awake. Don't do this! Ember, listen to me. Open your eyes. Ember-" I spoke, shaking her gently. She wasn't responding in the slightest and I just stopped speaking as a tear dripped down my cheek and landed on her hand which was in mine. I took another glance at her face which looked like death. Her eyes were closed and I was praying she wasn't dead.

I lowered my head down to her chest after feeling for a pulse and not finding one. I placed my ear on her heart and listened. I listened for a heart beat or for anything really that could signal life. I found one.

Her heart beat. It was soothing but at the same time worrying. It was faint and barely audible. In fact, I had to listen for a minute before I could find it. I sighed, picking her up in my arms and standing, holding her bridal style. I looked to Andy, Jake and CC who were all stiff and had the same, worried looks on their faces that I had.

"Is anyone coming to the hospital with me?" I asked. I looked from one to another, same as they were doing, and slowly- One by one- They each raised their hands; CC being the first.

I took in a deep breath, then turned slowly and carefully, eyeing the stairs in front of me- Then started my decent down them, and to my car- CC, Jake and Andy all following closely behind me.

Soon, in a time of 10 minutes-Which seemed like an eternity- We had pulled into the hospital parking lot and rushed in. One look at me, holding the pale and limp... Lifeless girl in my arms and she had called a bunch of people, bringing a gurney and they took her from my arms.

They took her and placed her on the bed and started doing CPR. They wheeled the bed away and burst through stainless steel doors. The doors closed behind them, and that was the last I saw of her.
