This Wasn't Expected

Ellena (P.O.V)

I went to my room removing my shoes. This was really tearable. I looked at my watch it was 10pm. Suddenly my phone rang.

TRING TRING

It was my mom calling.

"Hey princess how are you?" She asked.

"Mom......Please stop calling me this."

"Calling you what?" She asked.

"PRINCESS......I am not a small girl any more."

"Are you upset with anything Ellena."

"No mom."

"Then what happened to you."

"Nothing mom. Just work stress."

"Fine. By the way how was your first day at work?"

"It was fine."

"Did you had dinner?"

"Yes. I did." I lied to her. I was starving and that to because of that stupid person. "Mom I need to go. I want to sleep I am really tired." I added.

"Ohk princess take care of yourself."

"Love you mom. And please give my regards to dad."

"I will."

She said and I hung up the phone.

I went to the kitchen to cook something for myself. I checked the refrigerator and there was packet of cup noodles. I boiled the water and added it into the noodles. When the noodles were ready I went to my room. As I was about to eat my phone rang.

TRING TRING

It was Eve calling. (Eve is the nickname of Evan)

"How was your first date?" He asked in excitement.

"Firstly it wasn't a date and secondly he didn't came." I said angrily.

"He didn't came ..... But why?"

"How would I know?" I said sadly.

"Did you call him?"

"I did but he didn't answer any of them."

"But how can he miss such an good opportunity ..... I mean to hang out with such a pretty girl."

"Leave it. I don't want to discuss about all this."

"Ohk ..... As you say."

"Eve I need to have food so can we talk later."

"Sure. You go have your dinner."

"Thank you I will meet you tomorrow at office."

"Alright. Bye."

"Bye." I said and hung up the phone.

Eve and I have become really good friends. I have even told him about my crush on Erik.

~~~Flashback~~~

*At the office*

Erik left the office. I went for lunch at the common table where all the other people were also sitting. We all had lunch together. All of them really make me comfortable over here.

"So Ellena are you free this Saturday night?" Rhian asked.

"Yeah I am. But why?"

"We all have planed to go to Blues club, we all go there ever second weekend we would really love it if you join us." Rhian said.

"Yeah you should come. That place is really fun." Jenny said.

"I will come with you all." I said.

"Good then. Bring your casual clothes with you on Saturday we all get ready at Sierra's place." Evan said.

"Alright I will." I said.

"Now I guess we all should get back to work." Janson said.

"Yah you are right." Evan said.

And then all of us moved to our seats. I was doing my work but suddenly his thoughts stuck on my mind. Erik. I love him. I really do that. I want him to be mine forever. I still remember the first day I saw him at the university. He was busy with his group but my eyes were stuck on him. I was very popular in school. But still he never noticed me.

"Were are you lost?" A voice interrupted. I saw back and there was Evan.

"Nothing just work." I said.

"I don't think so. I have really never seen someone thinking about work in this way."

"Really I was just checking few files." I said taking a file which was kept on a side and acted to see in the files.

"Don't make me fool." He said taking the file from my hand. "I thought we are good friends and you could share your talks with me. But I guess you don't trust me." He said with a puppy face. He really looked cute.

"Evan I trust you."

"Eve.... You can call me that. My very near and dear once call me that. And if you trust me then tell me about the topic you were thinking." He said.

"Actually.... I was thinking about Erik."
"What about him?"

"I know him. He and I were in same university."

"That a good thing."

"No it is not."

"But why?" He asked.

"I came here in Paris just because I wanted to forget him."

"But why do you want to forget him?" He asked confusedly.

"Because I" I couldn't complete the sentence.

"Because you what?" 

"Because I love him. And I could never tell him that."
His eyes widened. And he didn't speak a word.

"What?" I asked him confusedly.

"This was really expected Ellena."

"Call me Ella. All my near and dear once call me that." I said and we both started to laugh.

"I guess you should meet him Ella. But not in office. After work you guys can go somewhere to hang out or something."

"He just said me that he wants to have dinner with me tonight."

"Ohhh that means he is too fast." He said.

"Shut up Eve."

"Alright. So this will be your first date. That to with your boss."

"Not a date. It's just a hangout. And I don't want you to tell about all this to any one."

"Don't worry Ella. Your secrets are safe with me. And now I guess I should go and work. I will call you at night."

"Ohk Eve."

"Bye." He said and winked.

"Bye Eve." I said and he left.

Erik was the one who said me not to be late. And now. He didn't came. And didn't even bother to leave a message. I will not forgive him for this.
