Thomas POV
A week after the kiss...
So I haven't talked to Mia since we kissed.. Well she hasn't really let me talk to her. Every time I try she walls away.. So I have be pissed off everyday.
"Mia you have to talk to me at some point in your life" I walked towards her. Again. Reaching out for her wrist
She smacks my hand away
"Leave me alone and go have fun making out with every other girl in the school." she spits out and pushed me aside and walked off.
Okay I like her but she is really pissing me off. After that little show I got into my car and drove home in silence. Once I got home I went straight into my room. I punched a big ass hole in my wall... My dad is literally gonna kill me.. I'm fucked
As soon is I sat down in my bed, there way to point in trying to fix it,I heard my dad open my door and I looked up just enough to see his face.
"Now you have done it boy." He walked out... He came back about 5 minutes later with a metal rod. All he had to do was hit me 3 times. Once in the legs once in the stomach. The one in the head.. Than I was out cold...I have no idea how many more times he hit after that.
"Thomas. Please be okay. Please wake up!" It sounded like a voice I have heard before.I feel my hand being squeezed .I open my eyes to see little miss Mia. I use my thumb to rub her hand. Shes in tears.
" Mia." I whisper "I'm okay"
I saw her her light blueish greenish color eyes pop up.
"Oh my god! Thomas!!" She cries and jumps up and out of her seat and hugs me like she hasn't seen my in years.
" I'm so sorry Thomas. I should have never ignor-" she couldn't continue because she was crying her eyes out.
I pulled her down besides my so she was also laying on the hospital bed with me. She was laying in my shoulder and her leg was laying on my left one. I was playing with her hair. She was just laying there doing who knows what.
" how long was I out for?" I asked She sat up with tears still in her eyes.
" Mia how long have I been out for?!" I also sit up
" about a week." She cries " your dad said that you got hit by a car.. But when i saw your dad and your wounds I knew better." She starts to cry even harder.
" Mia why are you here? I'm not trying to be mean its just.. You have ignored me for a week. They all of a sudden your crying over my unconscious body."
" I don't know exactly how or why I was ignoring you. And it killed me to say those things to you. I could never tell you how sorry I am." She wipes her tears away" and when I heard that you were in the hospital... My heart dropped. I ran out of school so fast." I haven't left your side. I pulled her down cupping her cheeks she kissing her. Like not a same old kiss. Like.. I don't even know. Like a kiss of trust or respect like I said I don't know. But after awhile she went to sleep on my shoulder. And after a while I too fell asleep.
