Nightmare

"I lay in an endless field of wheat grass. The ground was hard under my lean body, but the grass was soft and tickled teasingly around my small form, propelled by the strong wind. For a moment, I felt sure the grass had transformed into feathers and was carrying the Earth and I into the sky. Closing my eyes, we flew swiftly, diving to avoid the meteorites as we pummeled through space; shooting stars whizzed past us and sparkled in meticulous lines. As the cloud disappeared, I slowly floated back down onto my feet, as the wind blew once more it had whispered, "Lavina, Lavina". I gazed at the sun. The sweet song of the birds, chirping behind the horizon of the far mountains. An urge flowed in my veins, to run and grab the very rays of the sun.

I sprinted. Running as far as my legs would take me. Reaching closer and closer to the sun. A grin spread across face, for I was almost there. My tracks stopped as I gasped, a cliff. Hundreds of feet down and the waves of the ocean crashing along the rocks, the ground was eroding away from my feet. The sky grew gray; Dark clouds formed above, making me worry deeply. A Pair of arms grabbed me, shoving me off the cliff. I reached out my hand, grabbing hold of a branch. "HELP!" I screeched. The face of the person had shown, "Luna? How could you do this to me?" I sobbed. She looked up, "What goes around comes around Lavina" and walked away. The branch broke under my weight and I fell towards the rocks. As I hit them a pain struck through my body and...  

I screamed out in pain. The door swooshed open as Kristine, Luna, and Kenia ran in the room. "What happened?" Luna kneeled by my bed. I choked against my tears, "Nothing...” "No, something is wrong Lavina" Kenia said. Kristine paced back and forth, "You know what? I'm going to go give pretty boy a piece of my mind! It's been barely 3 hours since we got here and we're being treated like sh*t" she stomped her foot and walked out the room. Luna rubbed her temples, "We should have never gone to star bucks in the first place". "Everything happens for a reason Luna," Kenia patted her on the back.
