The Team

The Beginning

I walk into my new high school in England. Since I left my home country In Brazil. We had to move to England for my dads new job. So now I'm all alone at school no idea where to go I'm just waiting for a way to get away .

"Excuse me wheres the gym?" I ask the secretary. "Head down the hall and the next door to your left." So i walk down the hall and see group of guys in there soccer uniforms. " Hey you the new girl?" asked a tall boy with shaggy hair and blue eyes." Ya I'm Jalisa is this where the soccer tryouts are?" I say as i put my hair up in a pontytail. "Ya but there is only one team and its a guys team there is only one girl and its coaches daughter. Thats the only way she got in whats your excuse?" Answers the short boy. "Well coach said I could join I'm from Brazil and was captain  of the boys team oh ya I'm Jalisa  and you are?" I question the boys. "I'm Cam the captain of the team,"says the tall shaggy  hair boy. "Then there's Zack and Jack there twins. Our goalie is James, defence is Julius, Phil, Brandon, Brady then mid is Kurt, Calvin and Selena now there's forward there's me ,Curtis,Adam, and Curt "Nice I'll probably forget your names but I'll get them some time. Now what time is practice?" A boy  I think is Jack " right now come with me my dear!" So we walk off to the soccer field and a girl who i think is Selena is standing waiting for me. " Jalisa is that you?" "SEL NO WAY YOUR HERE!" " Jal I missed u why didn't you tell me you lived here?" "I don't know you didn't asked hey did your brothers move with you?" She asked giggling." Heck ya wouldn't go without them," I smile thinking about my twin and my 5 older brothers. " So Jalisa  you trying out for the team?" " Yup are those guys all as rude as Cam?" I ask looking at him. " Cam oh no he just doesn't like girls on the team he hates me on the team. He doesn't like watching me get hurt because I'm in his girl friend!" "WHAT I CANT BELIEVE IT HOW WHAT?!" Calm down for a year and he's sweet guy and cares for everybody he's a softie she says with a giggle."Ok so you have to come over Joey would love to see his princess again!" "Yes totally after practice but now we need to practice." We walk over to the boys and start running laps and of course I was in the lead coaches orders. He knows I can lead so he lets me show the boys. " Hey Jalisa I'm Justin your new friend!" He says with a laugh and falls back as I keep running with Mark. "Mark why does Cam not like me?" I ask looking straight ahead." It's not you its all girls he's a real softie and can't stand watching girls get hurt." He says with a soft smile to me.
     After practice me, Mark,Curtis,Curt, Zac and Jack went for pizza. " so Jalisa what is your fav pizza" Curt asked. "DID U JUST SAY FAV!" I laugh so hard at this! "Well my fav pizza is pepperoni " I say imitating his fav thingy. TWO LARGE PEPPERONIS  the waitress yells from behind the counter. "Here" I say and go to pay but I'm held back " what the hell guys?" "A girl never pays for the boys food!" "MARK PUT ME DOWN!" I yell as he picks me up and takes me outside." I atleast get to hold the pizza on the way home." I complain "FINE "  they all yell at once! "LETS GO TO MY PLACE WE CAN GO TO THE THEATRES OR GAME ROOM!"   "FIFA " we all tell and laugh.
