«Chapter 16»

Day 5

The last and final day of the yearly tournament that determined the strongest guild was today, and our pink headed protagonist was depressed.

Of course this was the very first time Natsu has ever felt like this, never in his life he had thought that Kagura would reject him....sure their first meeting wasn't all that good, he had practically been teasing her and making her feel embarrassed.

But even then Natsu knew that Kagura had enjoyed his company even though she hadn't know of his identity as Natsu Dragneel. Sure Natsu had met Kagura on different occasions during his various S-Class jobs they had even hung(?) out with each other and helped one another.

But to think because he was a Dragon Slayer King, it would ruin his chances with a girl that he fell for, sure it might have seemed like he was lusting after her but the actuality was that a Dragon Slayer has no control who his mate is going to be, it's their magic that chooses the mate.

Natsu had truly fell for her just like he had with Hestia and Bianca, so with his head up wards he looked at the sky and cursed his adopted father Igneel that Dragon just had be a King, hell if he had just been a normal Dragon Natsu would have only one mate but because of the fact that Igneel was the Fire Dragon King he had to get multiple mates, and his demonic side really doesn't help.

Because of his demonic side Natsu has to keep his lust in check almost every second he is around a beautiful woman hell he even started lusting after his sisters! Well to be honest it really wouldn't have mattered because his sisters married their own brothers...

"*Sigh*" Natsu shook his head to get rid of all of his thoughts, changing his aura from depressed to a much lighter aura making everyone around him feel more at ease.

"Well guys this is the final day." Natsu said to his team, which consisted of Minerva, Sting, Rouge and Rufus, the group were getting ready to leave their inn and join their guild mates in the colosseum(?).

"Haha let's win this Natsu-san!" Sting said.

"Hn." Rouge merely grunted with a small smirk on his face.
"If my memory serves me correctly we will be able to win this without to much effort." Rufus said.

"Don't get too cocky, there are still some strong mages from the different guilds." Minerva merely scolded the group of males.

"Ma~ma loosen up will ya, we will win for sure." Natsu said cheerfully as he put his arm around Sting while the two gave everyone matching grins.

"You guys are way to similar." Rouge said shaking his head at his fellow Dragon Slayers personality, the two Dragon Slayers just laughed off their friend's comment.

"Oh c'mon Rogue your going to end up a old man if you keep on acting like that." Sting said to his friend making Natsu laugh.

"Shut up." Was all Rouge said, with a irritated look the shadow Dragon Slayer turned around and ignored the White Dragon Slayer's jokes, as he found them unamusing and down right annoying.

'Sometimes I wonder how I met you.' Rouge thought as he had heard another one of Sting's idiotic jokes.

"Because I am awesome!" Sting said as if reading Rouge's mind.

"No your not!" Rouge snapped at his partner with a tick mark on his forehead.

"Your just jealous that I am awesome and your not." Sting snickered causing Rouge to loose all the control he had on his emotions and yell at his friend.

"This never gets old." Natsu grinned to himself remembering the times that he and the person who he considered his rival and best friend and used to be exactly the same. 'Gray...'

"*Ugh* Boys." Minerva mumbled in anger, if this had taken place 2 years Minerva would have beaten Sting and Rouge to and inch of their lives, but all of that changed once Natsu had joined Sabertooth, the guild changed from being ruthless and cold to a guild that loves one another to a certain extent, sure they might be rival but still they appreciate each other's skills and talents.

"Anyways let's go." Natsu said in a badass tone and started walking out of the Sabertooth Inn with his teammates behind him.

(Scene change)

"Welcome to the fifth and final day of the tournament, the final event is a battle royale between the 5 teams. The normal mages are worth 5 points each while the leader in worth 10 points and those points are acquired if the opponent is knocked out, and at the end which ever guild has acquired the most points will win the Grand Magic Games and their guild will be hailed as the strongest guild in Fiore!" Mato announced which caused everyone to cheer happily, while they looked at the arena which was now in the form of a city, with the contestants from different guilds in their own specific starting point.

"Over the past few days we have seen outstanding performances from all of the different mages. We have witnessed the return of the most destructive Dragon Slayer kabo." Mato said making almost everyone chuckle and look at Natsu while he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

"We have had a lot of major events that has led us to this moment, this year has been the most interesting and entertaining year of the Grand Magic Games and I wish each and every guild good luck and a thank you for participating in this tournament but there can only be one winner kabo!"
Mato added making everyone go wild and roar in excitement.

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN!" Mato announced with a thunderous roar that was followed by everyone cheers.

Yo guys sorry for this short ass chapter, this chapter was meant to a transitional chapter for the next chapter....damm I said chapter way too many times. But the upcoming chapter will have my promised 5k words and I hope you guys aren't pissed off at me....right (Puppy eyes).

Anyways I am back with a crap ton of ideas for my stories and I can't wait to write them all.

Also I hope you guys check out my new Story that I recently posted it's called Etherious Natsu Dragneel King of Pandemonium and honestly I am super hyped to write it, the story will probably be by most enjoyable to write along with some other stories that I am producing. (Gods that sounded so weird. It sounded so much better in my head.)
