Hermione felt dizzy as her feet hit the ground outside of the castle.

"I think I might puke." She grunted, regaining balance and holding onto the side of a rail on the front steps.

She then fixed her posture and made herself cry to make it look like her parents had actually been murdered in front of her. She formed a few cuts and scrapes on her arms, face, and abdomen. Obviously if Grindlewald had truly attacked her family, she wouldn't escape unscathed.

Running into the school with her small pouch of clothing (she had it enchanted to be bigger on the inside) and her wand, she ran into two prefects.

One was a Hufflepuff and the other was a Ravenclaw.

"Help!" She yelped out

"Oh my Merlin!" The Hufflepuff shouted aloud, bringing her hands to her mouth in terror, while staring at the beaten Hermione.

"You there, get Madame Loche. Tell your friend to get Dippet!" The Ravenclaw barked immediate orders and Hermione felt the scars and torn tissue she created dig deeper into her body and she collapsed to the floor in pain. She was now bleeding internally and if someone didn't treat her immediately, then she'd soon go into a coma- or worse, die.

She knew it was a risky move but trusted that the healer would get to her immediately.

"Out of my way!" The Ravenclaw hissed at students, and picked Hermione up in his arms. He ran through the halls, up stairs and finally they found the student that was sent to get the Matron and a woman who wore a apron and a medicine cap. She had brown hair that was pulled into a strict bun and had hazel eyes. Her body was fairly plump and she was also very short.

"Oh dear!" She pulled out her wand as the Ravenclaw walked into the Hospital Wing.

He set Hermione down on the nearest cot and the Hufflepuff girl held Hermiones hand tightly.

"It hurts." Hermione had a few tears spill out of her eyes and the healer began to work her magic, just as Hermione passed out.

"Who do you think she is, Albus?" Dippet asked, looking down at the girl with brown bushy hair, and a fair complexion.

"I haven't a clue, Headmaster." Albus Dumbledore lied. He knew exactly who this girl was. Her name was Hermione Jean Granger, and he knew this by taking Hermiones memories whilst her guard was down, and looking at them in a pensive.

"Why would she come here?" Dippet tapped his foot, looking down at the girl with furrowed brows.

"Protection?" Dumbledore muttered.

"But what from?"

Just then Hermione stirred, she opened her eyes and let out a yawn. Hermione felt like she had finally recovered from all the sleep she'd lost.

Pretending to not know where she was, Hermione looked around. "Where am I?"

"Hogwarts' Hospital Wing, my dear." Dippet looked down at her and Hermione nodded.

"Thank Merlin I made it here in time." She put on a face of relief.

"Yes, thank Merlin indeed, along with Arthur, Lancelot and everyone else at that round table. You were nearly dead!" Dippet exclaimed.

"Can you tell us your name, my dear?" Dumbledore asked.

"Hermione Granger. I was escaping from my home in France— Grindlewald attacked my parents." She whispered and pretended to tear up.
