Pretty Little Psycho

Shadow examines the abandoned Monster Carnival of Mobius where Mobians come  to display freaks of nature, Shadow fitting nicely into that category. It's also where he'd detected signs of a chaos emerald with some new equipment he'd swiped from G.U.N. before he left. "This chaos emerald's signature is coming from right in front of me...But there's absolutely nothing here." Shadow says somewhat suspiciously, the area he's standing in feeling unnaturally cold.

"Are you looking for something?"A fox-like woman with golden hair with red ends, her voice sounding lower than a normal females voice, yet sweet and haunting all the same as she suddenly appears in front of Shadow as he looks up from the monitor of his Chaos Emerald Locator(CEL for short) at the fox woman as she starts walking towards him, invading his personal space to a whole new level as she pulls an lusciously red apple out of the silver belt loop of her shorts and holds it in his face.

"I don't know who you are, but you'd better back up right now, and explain what you're doing."Shadow says as he whips out his gun and uses it as a wedge between him and the fox lady.The fox woman smiles as she tosses the apple in the air and it explodes into a green sparkling shower of chaos energy, as she smiles at Shadow in a slightly unstable and sadistic fashion as a light blush comes across her cheeks, her orange eyes glowing as she puts her right hand to her face to cradle her chin and extends her other hand towards Shadow. Shadow, extremely disturbed with a sickening sense of dread and unease filling his stomach at the woman's smile, while everything starts to flash and tremble in front of his eyes as he slowly loses his ability to move,  a bright white light forming over both him and the woman.

In a minute both Shadow and the woman are gone, Shadow's gun and CEL laying on the ground flashing and sending strange signals out, overwhelmed with the power of the fox lady's apple.

"Hey Sonic, i'm picking up on a really strange energy pattern coming from the Monster Carnival, it's putting all of my equipment on the fritz. It might be another of Eggman's inventions."Tails radios Sonic ,startling Sonic from a daydream as he lay at the foot of a tree.

"Seems like Eggman finally found a place full of freaks like him then."Sonic says lightheartedly, pointedly ignoring the fact that he and Tails would both fit in just fine among the freaks of nature that were at that show as he stands up, racing off towards the circus.

When Sonic arrives at the circus, he's startled to find it empty, completely different from its usual bustling crowd of freaks and the people that come to gawk at them."Something about this isn't right."Sonic radios to Tails as he slowly walks through the circus, the tents blowing occasionally with a chilly gust of wind."The energy signal should be right ahead about four feet and then to your left."Tails instructs through the radio to Sonic, his voice clouded by static."Tails, i think you need to fix the radioing devices when i get back."Sonic says and is greeted with absolute silence as he nears the source of the energy."Yo, Tails, you there?"Sonic asks, suddenly nervous about being alone in the circus.He gets no response. Pushing down his misgivings, Sonic walks towards the energy source. Three feet.Two feet.One foot.Just as Sonic reaches the energy source, Silver drops down from right in front of him."Whoa Silver!" Sonic exclaims in surprise as Silver dusts his self off."Your TIMING was perfect."Sonic snickers, realizing it was the perfect opportunity to crack a time travelling pun.

"Not now Sonic."Silver says briskly, turning to the power source as Sonic walks around him to look at the source as well. "That must be what was causing all of the fuss. Wait, is that Shadow's gun?"Silver starts,pointing at Shadow's gun and the CEL that's acting as a transmitter, blocker, power source, and, well basically just flipping the flip out."I'd know that gun from anywhere."Sonic says, crossing his arms."But...What's it doing here?"Silver asks, staring at the gun, his stomach hurting with the fear of the answer."I don't know, but it cant be good."Sonic says, reaching for the CEL, hiding his worry for Shadow's disappearance."Wait!"Silver exclaims, putting a telepathic box around it."It could be radioactive or something."He explains as he floats in the direction of Tails' workshop, carrying the box with him, and Sonic follows after picking up Shadow's gun, both hedgehogs hoping that Shadow is OK.
