The only thing Shadow could hear was a heartbeat, growing louder and louder with each beat until he hears a scream from nearby.Shadow tries to look around, to stand up, to move at all, but he finds that he can't. He can't see a thing either, and he knows it's not due to darkness that he can't see, since he has night vision.There must be something covering his eyes then.
Where the hell was he? Shadow could only begin to imagine, remembering the fox lady who had kidnapped him. That was just about the weirdest experience he had ever had. He would admit that as far as most guys rated, she was probably prime pickings, look-wise, even if she was a complete psycho. But Shadow was not most guys, he didn't care about all that stuff, he just wanted to get out of this place.
Shit! Why had G.U.N. never done an exercise over what to do if your blindfolded and completely pinned down?! The training there was completely useless!
Suddenly, Shadow could hear footsteps that seemed to be outside of wherever he was, slowly approaching, and then there was the screech of the door.
"Hello Shadow!"The fox lady's low,sweet, yet so haunting voice purrs, as he feels the room go about ten degrees colder, hearing the click of the door closing.How did this fox lady know his name? Well, that certainly wasn't his biggest concern at the moment.
"Could you hear me introducing a guest to my pet?"The fox lady asks, as she approaches Shadow, sending chills down Shadow's spine as he remembered the glass-piercing scream he'd heard.
Shadow stays silent, pretty sure there's something over his mouth that blocks him from emitting sound anyways.
"I just realized that you don't know my name. I am Bridget The Beastly, and i welcome you to my castle." The fox lady says as she does a little curtsy, smiling a bit manically, which Shadow can't see.

Tails finishes examining Shadow's gun as he hands it back to Sonic for about the tenth time,
"Sonic, I think Shadow just dropped his gun, there's no sign of a struggle, stop worrying so much!"Tails says grumpily as he turns to continue his investigation into the CEL's power emissions.
Sonic storms out of Tails's workshop over to Silver,
"No luck in convincing him either?" Silver asks, sounding rather tired at this point.
And how could he not be tired? After all, they'd gone to pretty much everyone they knew (and some they didn't) and asked or help.
But no one would help them look for Shadow.
"I don't know what to do."Sonic admits, sounding small and scared and Silver instinctively hugs the deep blue hedgehog.
"Don't worry Sonic, we'll find Shadow."Silver assures Sonic.
