Riley and Farkle dated in highschool, but have since gone their separate ways. They are still both vulnerable and heartbroken, despite being sophomores in college. Riley pretends she is over him, however her heart still speeds up at the mere thought of his fluffy hair or blue eyes. Farkle can't hide anything, so he is very open to everyone about missing Riley. He is just as much in love with Riley as he was 4 years ago. Dating for 4 years can do that to someone. His heart is torn apart when anyone mentions flowers, because they were Riley's favourite when they were together. Farkle now has made a new group of friends, but Riley has yet to do the same. She would much rather involve herself in her studies than go to stupid frat parties. Her somber demeanour is not what Farkle knows. He knows the old Riley Matthews. The one who was loveable, playful and had a can-do attitude. She always wears a Red Ribbion, but no one knows why. Will Farkle be able to figure out why she's changed, or maybe even why she sports the shiny red Ribbion? Maybe, maybe not.
