"Ms. Hiller! Pay attention! Let's see your split jump." Mme C tells me.
"On it!" I say confidently.
I do a quick yet elegant chasser then I take a step and leap the best I can.
Mme Cecelia soon starts clapping proudly.
"No that's how you do a split jump. Skylar? Do you mind telling the class what a split jump really is and what it takes to do one?" She asks me.
"Sure thing!" I answer. "When your doing a split jump, it requires you being ready and able to feel free while doing it. People most of the time think a split jump has to be high up to be fabulous! But what really matters is that you get the height you can but still make it look magnificent!"
"Thank you! See you girls tomorrow and I suggest you all practice for your duets."
Me, Cass and M grab our bags and walk out the class.
"So what's going to happen with the duets? There's 3 of us we can't DU ET with 3 people!" Miranda exclaims.
"Nice joke Ran! I'm so laughing on the inside. But she's right. This is not a trio audition." Cassie says a little upset.
"I have an idea! Why don't we all just get different partners?" I suggest.
"That's a good idea! I call Lela!" Cassie exclaims.

So that's when we all go ask if they want to be our partners. And it turns out... Yesss!!!!

"What the heck does that mean?" Lela asks confused.
"It meeaaannss... We're so gonna win this!" She replies.
"Uh!" I say sarcastically offended.
"Sorry chicka. But this competition is serious and we can't let is get in the way of our sisterhood. Compreno?" Cassie asks us.
